ME News: message, April 24 (UTC+8). According to crypto analyst Yu Jin @EmberCN, monitoring shows that the current rsETH incident has created a shortfall of approximately 68,900 ETH, equivalent to about $160 million. This shortfall was formed after the attacker collateralized rsETH, borrowed out 99,600 ETH, and then subtracted the 30,700 ETH that Arbitrum froze and recovered. At present, the relevant ETH has been converted into BTC, and the incident has entered the remediation stage. Aave coordinated the establishment of “DeFi United” to recover funds. Multiple parties have already provided about 13,500 ETH in support, including Lido providing 2,500 stETH, ether.fi providing 5,000 ETH, Aave founder Stani Kulechov providing 5,000 ETH, and Golem Foundation providing 1,000 ETH, with some additional institutions not disclosing the specific amounts.
