ME News Report, April 6 (UTC+8). According to on-chain analyst Yu Jin’s monitoring, about an hour ago, Resolv Labs destroyed 36.73 million USR tokens held by hackers through a contract upgrade. The hackers exploited a minting vulnerability to mint 80 million USR on an unbacked basis (no collateral). Of that, about 34 million USR were sold off by the hackers in exchange for 11,409 ETH ($24.48 million) and stored at the 0x8ED…81C address. In addition, about 46 million USR were destroyed by Resolv’s project team from the hacker address via a contract upgrade. The actual loss from this Resolv vulnerability exploitation incident was $34 million. (Source: ChainCatcher)
