Resolv Labs upgrades the contract to destroy the 36.73 million USR held by hackers.

ME News Report, April 6 (UTC+8). According to on-chain analyst Yu Jin’s monitoring, about an hour ago, Resolv Labs destroyed 36.73 million USR tokens held by hackers via a contract upgrade. The hackers exploited a minting vulnerability to mint 80 million USR without collateral; of these, about 34 million USR were sold by the hackers in exchange for 11,409 ETH (24.48 million dollars), which were stored at the 0x8ED…81C address. In addition, about 46 million USR were destroyed by the Resolv project team via a contract upgrade from the hacker address. The actual loss from this vulnerability exploitation incident by Resolv is estimated at 34 million dollars. (Source: ChainCatcher)
