Resolv Labs destroys the 36.73 million USR held by hackers via a contract upgrade.
ME News message, April 6 (UTC+8). According to on-chain analyst Yu Yan’s monitoring, about an hour ago, Resolv Labs upgraded the contract to burn 36.73 million USR held by the hacker. The hacker exploited a minting vulnerability to mint 80 million USR in an uncollateralized way, of which about 34 million USR were sold by the hacker in exchange for 11,409 ETH (US$24.48 million) stored at address 0x8ED…81C. In addition, about 46 million USR were burned by Resolv’s project team from the hacker’s address through a contract upgrade. The actual loss from this vulnerability exploitation incident by Resolv is US$34 million. (Source: ChainCatcher)
