ME News Report, April 17 (UTC+8), Russian cryptocurrency exchange Grinex announced that it experienced a cyberattack resulting in a loss of approximately 1 billion rubles (about $13 million) and has suspended trading services. Grinex stated that the attack shows signs of involvement by “foreign special service agencies,” and the matter has been handed over to law enforcement for investigation. On-chain data shows that about $15 million USDT was withdrawn from the platform and converted into ETH or TRX. The exchange was previously accused of having links to Garantex, which has been seized by U.S. authorities. (Source: MLion)
