Been deep in the crypto markets for years now, and honestly, the question everyone asks me is always the same: which cryptocurrency will make me a millionaire? So let me break down what I'm actually holding and why I think these five coins have serious potential heading into the next cycle.
First up is Ethereum. Look, I'm not gonna pretend this is some moonshot play, but ETH at $2.35K is still the backbone of everything happening in crypto. The development community is unmatched, and you've got real institutional money flowing in through the new ETFs. Blackrock literally chose Ethereum for their tokenized asset infrastructure. That's not hype, that's real adoption. I'm holding all my ETH because the tailwinds are just starting to hit.
Solana's the one I get asked about constantly. SOL at $89.29 gives you a way better entry point than Ethereum, and the network speed is just absurd. Yeah, there are some tradeoffs to get that speed, but the community is genuinely dedicated. I've been watching the tech improvements closely, and I think there's definitely room for a third major blockchain player. Solana's positioned to fill that gap.
Then there's Ronin. Gaming blockchain, built by the team behind Axie Infinity. At $0.09, it's dirt cheap, and they're not just sitting around—they've got over 10 games on the network now. One of them, Pixels, is actually seeing real daily active users. When blockchain gaming finally breaks through to mainstream adoption, Ronin's gonna be positioned right there.
BasedAI is the privacy angle I'm watching. The team is building decentralized infrastructure for AI with full homomorphic encryption built in. Basically, they're creating a way to run AI without Google, OpenAI, or Facebook controlling everything. That's genuinely important infrastructure, and it's criminally undervalued right now. Finance, healthcare, tech—all these industries will need privacy-focused AI eventually.
Finally, Aerodrome. This one's risky, I won't lie. At $0.42, it's volatile as hell, but here's why I'm holding it: Base is the Coinbase L2, and it's about to explode. Aerodrome is the leading DEX on Base, which means when trading volume pumps on Base, AERO directly benefits. It's a leverage play on Base's growth, and I think Base is gonna be massive in the next six to twelve months.
Look, none of these are guaranteed millionaire makers. Crypto is still volatile and risky. But if you're looking at which cryptocurrencies actually have real use cases and aren't just hype, these five are where I'm putting my money. The key is time in the market, not timing the market. Do your own research, but these are the ones I'm watching closely.
