Resolv Labs upgrades the contract to burn the 36.73 million USR held by hackers.
ME News update, April 6 (UTC+8). According to on-chain analyst Yu Jin’s monitoring, about 1 hour ago, Resolv Labs destroyed the hacker’s 36.73 million USR holdings by upgrading the contract. The hacker had minted 80 million USR through the minting vulnerability without collateral. Of that, about 34 million USR were sold by the hacker for 11,409 ETH ( $24.48 million), which were stored at the 0x8ED…81C address. In addition, about 46 million USR were destroyed by the Resolv project team via a contract upgrade from the hacker’s address. The actual loss from this vulnerability exploitation incident involving Resolv was $34 million. (Source: ChainCatcher)
