8:00 AM Fed's Barkin Speech

Richmond Federal Reserve Bank President Thomas Barkin will speak on the economy before the New York Association for Business Economics.

8:30 AM Durable Goods Orders

Durable goods orders are new orders placed with domestic manufacturers for factory hard goods.

8:30 AM GDP

Gross Domestic Product represents the total value of the country's production during the period and consists of the purchases of domestically-produced goods and services by individuals, businesses, foreigners and government entities.
The final revision is expected to confirm GDP contracted a marginal 0.2 percent in Q1.

8:30 AM International Trade in Goods (Advance)

This monthly report offers advance import and export data on the goods components of the monthly trade report.
The trade gap is expected at $90.7 billion versus $87.6 billion in April.

8:30 AM Jobless Claims

New unemployment claims are compiled weekly to show the number of individuals who filed for unemployment insurance for the first time.
Claims expected stable at the same 245K in the latest week from last week.

8:30 AM Chicago Fed National Activity Index

The Chicago Fed National Activity Index (CFNAI) is a monthly index that tracks overall economic activity and inflationary pressures. The CFNAI is a weighted average of 85 existing monthly indicators of national economic activity.

8:30 AM Corporate Profits

Corporate profits are derived from the national income and product accounts and are expressed in several measures.

8:30 AM Retail Inventories (Advance)

Retail inventories measure the monthly dollar value of inventories held by retailers. The advance report is released late in the month for the following month and is part of the Monthly Advance Economic Indicators report.

8:30 AM Wholesale Inventories (Advance)

Wholesale inventories measure the monthly dollar value of inventories held by merchant wholesalers and are tracked to gauge inventory change in quarterly GDP.

9:00 AM Fed's Hammack Speech

Cleveland Federal Reserve Bank President Beth Hammack will give opening remarks before the"Building Strong and Sustainable Communities" Policy Summit 2025 hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

10:00 AM Pending Home Sales Index

The National Association of Realtors developed the pending home sales index as a leading indicator of housing activity.
After dropping 6.3 percent in April, pending home sales are expected pretty to stabilize with a gain of 0.5 percent in May.

10:30 AM EIA Natural Gas Report

The Energy Information Administration (EIA) provides weekly information on natural gas stocks in underground storage for the U.S. and five regions of the country. The level of inventories helps determine prices for natural gas products.

1:15 PM Fed's Barr Speech

Federal Reserve Board Governor Michael Barr will speak on"Community Development at the Federal Reserve" before the"Building Strong and Sustainable Communities" Policy Summit 2025 hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.

4:30 PM Fed Balance Sheet

The Fed's balance sheet is a weekly report presenting a consolidated balance sheet for all 12 Reserve Banks that lists factors supplying reserves into the banking system and factors absorbing reserves from the system.
