The part that left the deepest impression on me wasn’t the result, but the stretch in the middle that almost got washed out.

The price kept oscillating around 0.06816. When it tried to push higher, there was no volume, but the pullback started getting faster and faster. At the time, I felt like someone above was using the rebound to unload, so I didn’t change my short bias just because of the short-term spike.

What was truly hard to endure was after opening the position. The market first came with a quick spike needle, and my account briefly showed a drawdown—I was honestly a bit panicked. Luckily, I didn’t rush to get out. I waited until the sell pressure regained control. As the price gradually moved to 0.05269, this time the outcome was recorded as +1096.55%. The waiting beforehand finally paid off.

A lot of retail traders don’t get it wrong—they just get scared off by the mid-course shakeout. In this grinding, churn-like market in crypto, it’s easiest for people to grow restless and get carried away. Being able to hold onto your own judgment matters more than staring at every small fluctuation.
