$BTC is showing a bounce from a key horizontal support zone. 👀
Buyers are stepping in, but the real test is whether this level can hold.
A strong bounce could open the door for another move higher, while losing support may bring more downside.

ZEC at $1,235—are you going to chase it?
Winklevoss has just filed a spot ETF application, the NU7 upgrade will go to a vote in 10 days, but Grayscale has seen over $100 million in consecutive net outflows—just now, ZEC crashed from $1,700 back to $1,112 before bouncing to $1,235. 24-hour trading volume has shrunk, yet the funding rate remains positive. Is this “the second leg up after a shakeout,” or are institutions using the ETF hype to sell into your buying?
First, the surface view: bullish news is everywhere, but the price is not rising.
Over the past two weeks, it has pulled back 27% from the $1,600-$1,700 high, crashed to around $1,112 on October 8, then rebounded to consolidate at $1,235. Its market cap is approximately $20.8 billion, ranking tenth, with a circulating supply of 16.9 million; the shielded pool accounts for 25-30%—real privacy usage is growing, so this is not pure speculation.
The candlesticks tell you this: the price is above the 50-day and 200-day moving averages, indicating a bullish medium- to long-term bias, but below the 20-day moving average at $1,330-$1,400. MACD is bearish but recovering, while RSI at 44-48 is neutral. All indicators are saying one thing: the direction is undecided, so do not rush into a heavy position.
First point: the ETF is coming, but institutions are exiting.
On October 6, Winklevoss Asset Services filed an S-1 application for a spot ZEC ETF, with the proposed ticker WINK, a 0.25% fee, and Gemini as custodian. This is a milestone-level institutional signal for the privacy coin sector.
Sounds impressive? But look at the other side—
Grayscale’s ZCSH spot ETF saw consecutive net outflows in early October, totaling more than $100 million. Institutions are taking profits.
In the same sector, one side is applying for a new ETF while the other is withdrawing from an existing ETF. What does this mean?
Institutions are bullish on the privacy sector’s long-term narrative, but they think the current price is too high.
Based on the $1,600-$1,700 September high, Grayscale’s institutional unrealized gains are huge. They are selling through the ETF and waiting to reenter after a pullback. Chasing at $1,235 means carrying them in.
Second point: the NU7 upgrade is coming, but the bullish news may already be priced in.
The NU7 upgrade is already live on the testnet: the block-time target will be reduced from 75 seconds to 25 seconds, the Network Sustainability Mechanism will be introduced, and the decision window for mainnet activation is around October 20, with formal activation possibly in early November.
At the same time, developers plan to introduce quantum-resistant signatures in January 2027, initially covering the transparent pool, which accounts for approximately 70% of the supply.
In plain English:
ZEC transaction speed will triple, going from “slow” to “fast”
The network sustainability mechanism will make the token economics healthier
Quantum resistance is a future-oriented security upgrade
But here is the problem—these bullish catalysts have already been priced in by the market.
The surge from several hundred dollars to $1,700 in September was driven by front-running the NU7 and ETF narratives. Now that the bullish news is about to be delivered, this is instead the classic “buy the rumor, sell the news” script.
Retail traders are waiting for the bullish news to materialize, while institutions are exiting before it does. This is not a conspiracy; it is a pattern.
Third point: the technical chart has reached a position where a decision must be made.
$1,235 is an awkward level.
The $1,240-$1,250 area above is the current upper boundary of consolidation; only a breakout would open the way to $1,300-$1,350
The $1,185-$1,200 area below is the recent pullback low; a breakdown would send it toward $1,100-$1,150
Further down, $1,080-$1,100 is medium-term structural support; a breakdown would change the trend
Trading volume has been weak during the rebound, with no confirmation from a volume expansion. What does this indicate? It indicates that the rebound from $1,112 to $1,235 was driven by short covering and retail dip-buying, not institutional accumulation.
The funding rate is mildly positive at 0.005%/8h, with no extreme crowding, but this also indicates that longs are gradually adding to positions and that the FOMO stage has not yet arrived.
The bulls and bears are facing off—you decide
On one side (the bullish case):
Winklevoss filed a spot ETF application, a milestone for the institutionalization of privacy coins
The NU7 upgrade will be voted on October 20 and activated in November, bringing a fundamental technical transformation
The shielded pool’s share continues to rise at 25-30%, showing growing real-world usage
A hard cap of 21 million, similar to BTC’s scarcity narrative
The broader trend remains in an upward channel, above the 50-day and 200-day moving averages
On the other side (the bearish case):
Grayscale’s ZCSH ETF has seen over $100 million in consecutive net outflows, indicating that institutions are taking profits
A 27% pullback from $1,700 means high-level trapped positions need to be absorbed
The macro environment is unfavorable: the Federal Reserve raised rates in September, while U.S. Treasury yields remain elevated at 5.2-5.35%
BTC is ranging and pulling back between $82,000-$84,000, cooling risk appetite
The rebound lacks volume and institutional confirmation
The key level is $1,235, which is now the dividing line between bulls and bears.
Resistance above: $1,240-$1,250 (upper consolidation boundary) → $1,300 → $1,330-$1,350 → $1,400-$1,500 → $1,600-$1,700
Support below: $1,185-$1,200 (short term) → $1,100-$1,185 (strong support + 50-day moving average) → $1,080-$1,100 (structural line in the sand)
Trading strategy
For short-term traders:
Do not chase around $1,235 now. Wait for one of two scenarios: first, a volume-backed move above $1,250 and a breakout through $1,280-$1,300, then go long targeting $1,350-$1,400, with a stop-loss at $1,240; second, if $1,185-$1,200 holds on a pullback, try a small long position, with a stop-loss below $1,150 and a target of $1,240-$1,300. A break below $1,100-$1,120 would signal short-term weakness; stay on the sidelines or take a small short position targeting $1,000.
For swing traders:
Do not take a heavy position at $1,235. The ideal mid-term entry zone is $1,100-$1,150; enter in batches and set a strict stop-loss below $1,080. Target $1,400-$1,500 first, with $1,600-$1,700 possible in a strong move. The NU7 rollout and ETF progress are catalysts, but wait for the price to reach the right levels.
For long-term believers:
If you believe in the privacy sector and ZEC’s long-term value, you can start dollar-cost averaging at $1,100-$1,150, hold for 1-2 years, and target higher prices. But remember: regulatory risks for privacy coins always exist, so keep the position below 10% of your total capital.
Risk rules:
Keep perpetual leverage within 3-5x; do not gamble
Do not lose more than 2% of total capital on a single trade
Watch the October 20 NU7 voting milestone + whether BTC breaks below $80,000
The Federal Reserve is still in a rate-hike cycle; do not fight the macro trend
ZEC fell from $1,700 to $1,235, and you do not dare buy. When it climbs back to $1,700, you will slap your thigh and say, “Why didn’t I get in back then?”
But I need to remind you—this time is different.
The September surge was a violent rally driven by the dual expectations of NU7 and the ETF. Now those expectations are about to materialize, institutions are selling through the ETF, and the macro environment is tightening. If you chase in now, you are not betting on the “privacy narrative”; you are betting that you can run faster than institutions can sell.
It is not that ZEC is no good; you always rush in at the emotional peak, then sell in despair at the bottom.#Gate亮相TOKEN2049 #Ledger事件损失近9000万 #GateWCTCS9全球交易赛 $BTC $ETH $ZEC

RLC at $1—would you dare chase it?
The project team has issued no announcements at all, yet it went from $0.3 to $1 in a week, up 200%—but shorts are still aggressively adding to their positions, funding rates are absurdly negative, and the annualized rate is so outrageous that shorts wake up owing money every day. Is this a sudden breakout of the AI privacy narrative, or the market maker’s final squeeze to harvest liquidity?
First, the surface-level view: it has gone crazy, but nobody knows why it is rising.
RLC went from $0.3-$0.4 in early October to above $1 in a week, gaining 150%-200% for the week. Its market cap is only $87 million, while its 24-hour trading volume often reaches hundreds of millions of dollars—the trading volume is even larger than the market cap. What do you call that? A casino, not an investment.
The candlesticks tell you this: the daily and weekly charts show strong bullish momentum, with the price far above all moving averages and breaking through a long-term downward structure. But RSI is already at 81—severely overbought. The last time it was this high, what happened afterward? Go check the chart yourself.
First: it is up 200%, but the project team has not said a word.
You read that right. No major product launch, no major partnership announcement, no mainnet launch. What is the core narrative? AI infrastructure + confidential computing + Intel TDX/SGX + a 2026 roadmap.
Translated into plain English: the story is good, but it is all still on testnets.
The Nox protocol and Arbitrum deployment are mostly still in their early stages, and real paid usage has yet to take off. So what is driving this rally? Speculative capital + a short squeeze. Social buzz has picked up, retail traders are experiencing FOMO, shorts are being forced to close, and the price is flying.
Explosive gains without fundamentals always end in a mess. You just do not know when the mess will hit.
Second: shorts are working for the longs, but this game can be deadly.
Funding rates are deeply negative, with shorts paying longs, and the annualized rate is outrageously high. OI is still rising—meaning shorts have not only failed to exit, but are continuing to add to their positions.
What does this mean?
If the price continues to rise, shorts will be forced to close, triggering an even larger short squeeze, and the price could surge to 1.2, 1.3, or even higher. This is what “the rally does not stop until the shorts are dead” means.
But on the other hand—once shorts surrender and finish closing their positions, buying pressure will disappear instantly, and the price will fall like a kite with its string cut. High turnover, high leverage, and a small market cap mean that a reversal cutting the price in half in one day is no joke.
If you rush in now, you are betting on when the shorts will surrender. The question is, what makes you think you are smarter than the shorts?
Third: technical analysis tells you that chasing the rally is simply giving your money away.
Daily RSI is 81, severely overbought. The price has deviated too far from the moving averages, and mean reversion could happen at any time.
Key levels (using $1 as the reference):
Short-term support: $0.92-$0.95 (recent lows)
Stronger support: $0.85-$0.88 (if this level breaks, this rally will most likely be over)
Short-term resistance: $1.06-$1.12 (previous high area)
Upside: only a valid breakout above $1.12 followed by consolidation above it could open the way to $1.20-$1.30
But remember: a drop from $1 to $0.85 is a 15% pullback. With 5x leverage, you get liquidated instantly.
The bulls versus the bears—you decide
On one side:
The weekly chart has broken through a long-term downward structure, and the trend has turned bullish
Shorts are still adding to their positions, and negative funding rates could continue to fuel a short squeeze
The AI + privacy + confidential computing narrative is riding a rotating hot sector
The market cap is small, so the cost of pushing up the price is low, and it rises quickly when sentiment arrives
On the other side:
Chasing after a 200% gain offers an extremely poor risk-reward ratio
No fundamental catalyst, purely driven by capital flows
RSI at 81 is severely overbought, and gains could be given back at any time
Small market cap + high turnover means the market maker can dump in the opposite direction at any time
An old project dating back to 2017, with very few genuinely delivered products to show for it
Trading strategy
Short-term short-squeeze bet (extremely high risk):
Do not chase at $1. Wait for a pullback to $0.92-$0.95, then only cautiously try a long after volume contracts and the price stabilizes, followed by a rebound on rising volume; set a stop-loss below $0.88. Only consider following after a valid move above $1.10-$1.12 followed by a successful retest. Keep leverage below 3x; spot is preferable.
Swing/mid-term (wait and see):
Wait for consolidation above $0.95-$1.00, then consider it only alongside real usage data or new developments. Once it breaks below $0.85-$0.88, this rally is basically over—do not hold and hope.
Long-term believers (caution):
If you genuinely believe in the AI + privacy computing sector, buy in batches below $0.85, but keep your position within a range where you can withstand a 50% drawdown. Do not gamble with living expenses, and do not use faith as a stop-loss.
Ironclad risk rules:
No single trade should lose more than 2% of total capital
Always set a stop-loss; never hold and hope
Watch changes in funding rates—once they turn positive, the short-squeeze rally may be over
Watch BTC; if BTC falls below 80000, all altcoins will suffer
One final hard truth
The rally does not stop until the shorts are dead; once the shorts are dead, the rally dies.
If you rush in now, are you going to be a long, or the final bagholder?
RLC rose from $0.3 to $1, tripling in value. Do you think it can triple again? Look at how many old coins have died from 2017 to today on the road of “this time is different.”#Gate亮相TOKEN2049 #Ledger事件损失近9000万 #GateWCTCS9全球交易赛 $BTC $ETH $RLC

BTC at $83,000—are you still holding?
Today marks the first anniversary of the “1011” crash. The wound from $19 billion in liquidations has yet to heal, and BTC has fallen from $126,000 to $83,000—a 34% retracement. Even more painful: on-chain data shows that the dense cost basis zone for 1 million BTC is stuck at $83,000-$86,000. Every penny you buy now is helping someone else break even. Is this merely a mid-bull-market pause, or has the bear market just begun?
First, the surface picture: range-bound at high levels, with neither bulls nor bears daring to act.
BTC is moving sideways on declining volume around $83,000, with intraday volatility of only a few hundred dollars. After retreating from the early-October high of $87,000, it found support around $80,400 and rebounded to $83,000. Its market cap is $1.6 trillion, while 24-hour trading volume has shrunk to below $20 billion. The candlesticks tell you that the price is above the 50-day moving average ($80,900) and the 200-day moving average ($72,000), so the medium- to long-term structure remains bullish; but it is below the 7-day and 20-day moving averages, indicating short-term weakness. This is a typical dead zone while waiting for a direction.
First: today marks the first anniversary of “1011,” and the market’s PTSD has yet to heal.
On October 11, 2025, BTC had just set an ATH of $126,200 before plunging to $102,000 half an hour later, triggering $19 billion in liquidations across the market.
One year later, BTC is only at $83,000—19% below that day’s low.
Many of those liquidated in that wave still have not recovered their losses today. And market sentiment remains one of “fear.”
What does fear make you do? It makes you sell at the bottom, prevents you from adding to your position, and makes you call every rebound a “bull trap.” This is exactly the kind of sentiment market makers love.
Second: $83,000-$86,000 is the “break-even wall” for 1 million BTC.
On-chain data from Glassnode shows that long-term holders’ cost basis is concentrated in the $83,000-$86,000 range, covering approximately 1-1.07 million BTC.
In plain English: this range is the average cost basis for those who bought over the past two years. Once the price reaches this zone, those who have broken even will want to sell. This is not technical resistance—it is human resistance.
Even more painful: the ETF average cost basis is also around $82,000-$83,000. Institutions have only just returned to the break-even line—do you expect them to become “diamond hands” alongside you?
It’s not that BTC cannot rise; it’s that every time it climbs above $83,000, someone starts selling. And that someone might be the colleague sitting at the desk next to you.
Third: the macro market is waiting for one data point—CPI on October 14.
The Federal Reserve just raised rates to 3.75%-4.00% in September, and it will most likely hold steady in October (83% probability). But the probability of a rate hike in December is still above 70%.
The October 14 CPI data is the biggest bombshell in the near term.
If inflation cools → rate-cut expectations rise → BTC surges straight to $90,000
If inflation comes in hotter than expected → high rates continue to suppress risk assets → BTC falls back to $78,000
The current low-volume sideways trading is simply the market waiting for this data. The calm before the storm is often the most suffocating.
Bulls versus bears—you decide
On one side (bullish reasons):
The post-halving supply-tightening narrative remains intact
Cumulative ETF net inflows exceed $57 billion, and long-term institutional allocation has not stopped
The 50-day moving average at $80,900 is providing effective support, with price above the 200-day moving average at $72,000
Miner selling pressure is easing, while daily revenue is recovering
The price has stabilized above key support, constituting a healthy correction
On the other side (bearish reasons):
A 34% retracement from the ATH, with the trend still weak
Break-even selling pressure from 1 million BTC at $83,000-$86,000
Large recent ETF outflows ($730 million outflow on October 7-8)
A high-rate environment suppressing risk assets
Whales are distributing, not accumulating
The key level is $83,000, just $3,000 below the $86,000 line that determines life or death.
Resistance above: $83,300-$83,500 (recent concentration zone) → $85,000 → $86,000 (the real hard resistance)
Support below: $82,300-$82,900 (intraday pivot) → $80,500-$81,000 (50-day moving average) → $78,000-$80,000
Trading strategy
Short-term traders:
Sell high and buy low within the $82,300-$85,000 range. If $82,000 breaks on heavy volume, try a short position with a light allocation, targeting $80,000-$78,000, with a stop-loss at $83,200. If $83,500 breaks and holds, try a long position with a light allocation, targeting $85,000-$86,000, with a stop-loss at $82,800. Do not chase rallies or sell into declines in a range-bound market; keep your position size light.
Swing traders:
As long as the $80,000 level holds, the medium-term bullish structure remains intact. Wait for the daily close to hold above $86,000-$87,000 before getting back in, targeting $90,000-$95,000. If $80,000 breaks, look toward $75,000-$78,000 and reduce your position first.
Long-term believers:
Below $80,000, invest in batches through dollar-cost averaging; do not go all-in at once. The long-term BTC thesis has not changed, but short-term macro headwinds remain. Remember: you have to survive to catch the next wave.
One final painful truth
BTC has fallen from $126,000 to $83,000, a 34% drop. Do you think it is a bear market? Yet every mid-bull-market pause after a halving has seen a drop of this magnitude.
In 2021, BTC fell from $64,000 to $30,000, and everyone said, “The bull market is over.” Six months later, it hit a new high.

Last year's 10/11 was undoubtedly a day worth remembering for many long-time crypto investors. In the blink of an eye, a year has passed—time really flies.
After spending so many years in crypto and witnessing black swan events of all sizes, my biggest takeaway is that when you make money, you need to exit in time and be able to hold on to your wealth. It doesn't care how much you once made, but how much ultimately actually made it into your own pocket.

Brent at $104 is putting a “tightening spell” on BTC
On October 7, BTC fell below $83,000, with $550 million in leveraged positions liquidated within 24 hours. On October 9, it touched a low of $80,427, while weekly ETF outflows reached $484.9 million.
That same day, Brent crude rose above $104. The 30-year U.S. Treasury yield hit 5.731%—the highest since 2002.
Three events, on the same day.
This is not a coincidence. It is a complete transmission chain.
The first link: Hormuz.
Kpler data shows that crude oil transit through the Strait of Hormuz has fallen 27% from its wartime peak to at least 10.1 million barrels per day, just 74% of prewar levels. On October 6, only seven merchant ships passed through the strait, the lowest level in two months.
The chokepoint for one-fifth of global oil trade is being squeezed.
Oil above $104 is not a supply-and-demand issue. It is a risk premium.
The second link: diesel, the most brutal link in the chain.
When crude rises, everyone watches the news. When diesel rises, truck drivers stop working.
Diesel is directly tied to road freight and logistics costs. Moody’s chief economist Mark Zandi estimates that every sustained $1 increase in diesel per gallon raises overall inflation by 0.1 percentage points. With the current increase of about $2.5, PCE inflation is expected to rise by approximately 0.25 percentage points.
Barclays is even more direct: Diesel prices have risen about 80% this year, potentially pushing core inflation up by 0.15 to 0.23 percentage points.
Crude is news; diesel is the bill. The G7 is rushing to release diesel reserves not as charity, but to cool the CPI data.
The third link: the Federal Reserve, delivering the finishing blow.
The minutes of the September meeting released on October 7 stated plainly that most officials believed another rate hike this year “could be appropriate,” with energy prices listed as one of the “greatest challenges” to inflation.
Some officials explicitly said that rate hikes would help prevent energy-market shocks from triggering price increases.
In plain English: If oil does not fall, I hike. If diesel does not fall, I hike.
The fourth link: Treasury yields, draining liquidity directly.
The 30-year yield hit 5.731%. That is a level unseen since 2002.
Every basis-point rise in the risk-free rate reprices BTC’s opportunity cost. With Treasuries yielding 5.7% annually, holding BTC, which generates no cash flow, means competing with government bonds for capital.
A stronger dollar is putting collective pressure on risk assets. BTC was not dumped by crypto-market participants; it was dragged down by Treasury yields.
The only variable now: Russia’s 500k tons of diesel.
On October 10, Russia formally partially lifted its diesel export ban, allowing 500k tons to enter the international market. The move was agreed upon by Trump and Putin, and the U.S. Treasury also issued a temporary license.
If those 500k tons, together with the reserves released by the G7, can genuinely push down diesel crack spreads—energy inflation expectations ease → Treasury yields fall → BTC gets a window to breathe.
But if the Hormuz risk persists and the additional supply is absorbed by transportation costs—BTC will continue to be pulled back and forth in the gravitational field of “inflation-rate hikes,” and the defense of $80,000 has only just begun.#Gate亮相TOKEN2049 #Ledger事件损失近9000万 #GateWCTCS9全球交易赛 $BTC $CL $BZ

SOL at $110—are you going to sell at a loss?
SOL crashed from 122 to 105, with the ETF seeing outflows for three consecutive days, but Samsung just announced that 82 million phones support Solana payments—and just now, daily active addresses surged to 1.88 million, a 13-month high. Is this ultimately a golden buying opportunity or merely a continuation of the downtrend?
First, the surface picture: the price is fluctuating narrowly between 108.5 and 112, RSI is at 44, and the price is below MA20, indicating short-term bearishness. Trading volume is shrinking, and the Bollinger Bands have narrowed to an extreme—an omen of an imminent breakout, either upward or downward. But there really isn't much room left to the downside.
First: the ETF sees several million in outflows, you panic and sell at a loss, and institutions happily take your chips.
The U.S. spot SOL ETF has seen net outflows for several consecutive days, including $3.76 million on October 9. Sounds scary? But look at the cumulative figures—net inflows still stand at $1.58 billion, with AUM at $1.73 billion.
Several million in outflows is called “profit-taking,” not “institutions fleeing.” The real big money is quietly accumulating in the 105-108 range. You fear a break below 100; institutions fear they haven't bought enough.
Samsung's wallet will support cross-border USDC payments on Solana by the end of October, covering 82 million U.S. Galaxy devices. Securitize is bringing tokenized Apple and Nvidia shares onto Solana.
This isn't hype; it's real adoption. While you're still looking at the candlesticks in panic, institutions are already looking at real-world deployment.
Second: SIMD-0525 is live, and Solana is quietly changing its engine.
Slot times have been reduced to 200ms, and block production speed has doubled, paving the way for Alpenglow. Don't understand? In plain English:
Faster transactions and stronger finality
Network congestion becomes a thing of the past
Institutional-grade applications can now confidently go on-chain
Daily active addresses reached 1.88 million, a 13-month high. DEX trading volume is at the $2.6 billion level, while stablecoins and RWA continue to expand.
The price fell, but the number of users increased. This is called “falling prices with rising volume,” a typical divergence in the early stages of a bull market. You see risk; I see chips changing hands.
Third: Technical compression has reached an extreme, and a breakout is imminent.
The 108.5-112 range has already been consolidating for several days. The Bollinger Bands are narrowing and trading volume is shrinking—this is the calm before the storm.
Key levels:
Support: 108.5 → 107.4 → 105-106 (strong support; a break below points to 100-102)
Resistance: 112-112.6 → 115-116 → 119-120 → 124
A sustained move above 112.6 with rising volume would target 116-120 directly. Losing 108.5 could accelerate a bottom test at 105.
But remember—the 105-108 zone is strong support that has held through multiple previous tests. The probability of a breakdown is far lower than the probability of a rebound.
Bulls versus bears—you decide
On one side:
ETF outflows for consecutive days, with institutions staying on the sidelines in the short term
Some large-scale unstaking, creating expected selling pressure
The Federal Reserve raised rates to 3.75-4%, keeping macro conditions tight
The October 14 CPI data brings significant uncertainty
On the other side:
Samsung's 82 million devices support USDC payments, representing real adoption
Tokenized U.S. stocks on Solana, bringing the RWA narrative to fruition
SIMD-0525 is live, performance has doubled, and Alpenglow is on the way
Daily active addresses reached 1.88 million, a 13-month high
Cumulative ETF net inflows of $1.58 billion, with institutions continuing their long-term allocations
The 105-108 strong support zone has held multiple times historically
The key level is 110, just $1.5 away from the 108.5 line of life and death.
Upside resistance: 112.6 (breakout confirmation) → 116-120 → 124
Downside support: 108.5 (last line of defense) → 105-106 → 100-102
Trading strategy
Short-term traders:
Take a small long position at 108.5-109, with a stop-loss at 107.5 and a target of 112-113. Add to the position on a break above 112.6, targeting 116-120. If 108.5 breaks on rising volume, turn bearish or stay on the sidelines in the short term, targeting 105-106. Don't chase in the middle of the range; wait for the edges.
Swing traders:
Build positions in batches between 105-108, with a stop-loss below 105 for the core position. Target 120 → 130+, provided BTC stabilizes and ETF outflows stop. Entering now means enduring the grind, but only those who can endure it will be qualified to capture the main rally.
Long-term believers:
If you believe in the Solana ecosystem (upgrades + ETF + RWA + Samsung), scoop up the tokens below 110 with your eyes closed. Target 150-250 in the second half of 2026. But the prerequisite is that you can tolerate another 10% in unrealized losses.
SOL now resembles ETH in 2024—
The ETF was approved, institutions bought, yet the price fell. Everyone called it “garbage,” and then it doubled a few months later.
But there is one difference: ETH has Pectra, while SOL has Alpenglow; ETH has L2s, while SOL has Firedancer. Essentially, neither is stronger—the question is only which one falls to a cheaper price.
It's not that Solana is failing; it's that you chased the rally at 122 and sold at a loss at 108.
Institutions accumulate during ETF outflows, while you collapse during range-bound trading.
Samsung's 82 million devices support USDC, yet you hand your chips to the market makers at $110.#Gate亮相TOKEN2049 #Ledger事件损失近9000万 #GateWCTCS9全球交易赛 $BTC $ETH $SOL

NEAR at $5.35—are you chasing it?
Bitwise’s spot ETF just launched yesterday, and NEAR has surged from $1.6 to $5.35 in three months, up 235%. But the $5.40–$5.60 range has already rejected the price three times. Is this the starting point of an “ETF bull run,” or the final leg after the good news has been priced in?
Have you been watching NEAR climb from $1.6 to $5.35 without daring to get on board? Now that the ETF has launched, you’re even more anxious—chase it and you fear becoming exit liquidity; don’t chase it and you fear it will shoot straight to $10.
Let me tell you a painful fact: at this level, those chasing the highs are the brave ones; those waiting for a pullback are the smart ones.
First, the surface: up 235%, but stuck at $5.40.
NEAR started from $1.6 in August, rose more than 140% in 30 days, surged to a $7.2 billion market cap, entered the top 20, and overtook Stellar. It gained 198% in Q3, compared with Bitcoin’s 43% and Ethereum’s 71% over the same period. The candlestick chart tells you this: the daily bullish trend remains intact, but the price has repeatedly struggled below the $5.40–$5.60 resistance; at $5.35, it is stuck in the most uncomfortable position—neither up nor down.
First point: the ETF has launched, but the good news may already be fully priced in.
Bitwise’s spot NEAR ETF (ticker NRR) listed on the NYSE on October 9, becoming the first. Sounds explosive, right? But look at the market—the price failed to break above $5.60 on launch day and instead hovered around $5.30.
Why? Because traders buy the rumor and sell the news. This move from $1.6 to $5.35 was driven by expectations of the ETF. Once the ETF actually launched, early buyers had the perfect opportunity to sell into you.
An ETF is not a starting gun; it is an invitation from institutions—but by the time the invitation is sent, half the banquet has already been eaten.
That is not to say the ETF is useless. In the long term, it opens an institutional channel. But in the short term, don’t rush in on the day the good news is realized just to become part of the cheering section.
Second point: after a 140% rise, can the fundamentals support it?
NEAR’s fundamentals are relatively solid among public chains:
Intents has processed more than $30 billion in cumulative volume, with annual fees of about $45 million
Some of the revenue is funneled back into buybacks
AI agents, chain abstraction, and private transactions—it has hit all the major narratives
The “default confidentiality” perpetuals launched in partnership with Hyperliquid surged 27% in a single day on September 17
But here is the question: with a $7.2 billion market cap and $45 million in annual fees, is the valuation expensive?
Yes. Extremely expensive. This valuation is pricing in “future growth,” and any signal that growth is falling short of expectations could trigger a sell-off.
Even more painful—the entire rally cannot be fully explained by any single announcement. In other words, a considerable part of it has been driven by sentiment and capital flows. Sentiment comes quickly and leaves just as quickly.
Third point: the technicals tell you that chasing the highs now offers extremely poor risk-reward.
This NEAR rally has followed a “stair-step rise,” with a pullback and confirmation after each breakout. But the gains over the past few days have often been accompanied by short liquidations—there were short squeezes on October 5 and 6. What does that mean? Part of the rise was driven by short stop-losses, not pure buying pressure.
Key levels:
Strong resistance: $5.47–$5.60 (October 1 high + psychological barrier)
Upside targets: $6.0 → $6.5–$7.0
Near-term support: $5.00–$5.10 (bull-bear dividing line)
Medium-term support: $4.70–$4.84 (buying support zone)
Strong support: $4.24–$4.43 (launch platform; a breakdown would weaken the trend)
At $5.35, the price is just $0.25 from the $5.60 resistance but $0.35 from the $5.00 support. The upside is limited, while the downside is larger. Do the math yourself.
You decide which side of the bull-bear battle to watch
On one side:
The first spot ETF has launched, opening an institutional channel
Up 198% in Q3, market cap entering the top 20, with strong capital concentration behind the narrative
Real revenue from Intents, combined with the AI + privacy + chain abstraction narratives
The daily bullish trend remains intact
On the other side:
Risk of buying the rumor and selling the news after the ETF catalyst
Up 140% in 30 days, with a large component driven by sentiment and capital flows
A relatively expensive valuation: $7.2 billion market cap against $45 million in fees
It has failed three times to break through $5.40–$5.60, indicating heavy resistance
The rally has been driven by a short squeeze, making it easy for late buyers to become exit liquidity
CPI on October 14 and the Fed on October 28—the macro bombs are ahead
Trading strategies
Plan A: Buy the pullback (preferred)
Entry: Scale in at $4.95–$5.10
Stop-loss: A daily close below $4.65
Targets: $5.60 → $6.0 → $6.5
Plan B: Follow the breakout
Condition: A four-hour or daily close holds above $5.60, accompanied by rising volume
Entry: Buy the pullback if $5.45–$5.55 holds
Stop-loss: Below $5.20
Targets: $6.0–$6.4
Plan C: Small countertrend short (experienced traders only)
Condition: A long upper wick or high-volume stagnation after a push to $5.45–$5.60, with ETF flows falling short of expectations
Stop-loss: Above $5.75
Targets: $5.0 → $4.85; get in and out quickly
At $5.35: chasing longs is not recommended. If you already have a long position, scale out at $5.50–$5.60 and raise the stop-loss on the remainder to above $5.00.
Risk management rules (memorize these)
Keep leverage below 3x, and limit the loss on any single trade to 1–2% of total capital
Watch funding rates and open interest; crowded longs mean pullback risk
Reduce exposure around the October 14 CPI release; do not take a heavy position before the data is released
After a 140% monthly gain, leave room for uncertainty in any one-sided conclusion; a 20–30% retracement is normal
NEAR is up 235%, and you don’t dare buy; wait until it falls back to $4, and you still don’t dare buy. Then did you come to crypto just to be a spectator?
But remember—don’t be a hero at $5.60; be a hunter at $5.0.#Gate亮相TOKEN2049 #Ledger事件损失近9000万 #GateWCTCS9全球交易赛 $BTC $ETH $NEAR

Data centers are so short on power that they’re going crazy. The endgame for AI is electricity! The 6 most powerful tickets to the electricity boom:
1. GE Vernova $GEV
manufactures power generation equipment and is a major beneficiary of growing AI power demand. AI data centers need more electricity, and ultimately, someone still has to build new power generation facilities. GE Vernova provides power generation equipment such as gas turbines, directly benefiting from the global demand for power expansion. The company’s backlog reached $176 billion at the end of the second quarter of 2026, and it is expanding production capacity. The more severe the power shortage caused by AI, the more important new power generation equipment becomes.
2. Vertiv $VRT
AI servers not only consume electricity but also generate large amounts of heat, making cooling a critical issue for data centers. Vertiv provides data center power, liquid cooling, and temperature control equipment. In the second quarter of 2026, the company’s revenue grew 24% year over year, profit increased by approximately 60%, and it raised its full-year guidance. The denser the AI computing infrastructure, the greater the requirements for power and cooling systems.
3. Eaton $ETN
manufactures electrical equipment and power management systems. Simply put, it delivers electricity to data centers safely and reliably. Transformers, circuit breakers, and power distribution systems are all essential. Eaton expects AI data centers to account for 21% of its sales in 2026, with related demand also driving North American backlog to a record high.
4. Bloom Energy $BE
specializes in fuel cells that can generate electricity directly near data centers, reducing reliance on the traditional power grid. As grid expansion fails to keep pace with the construction needs of AI data centers, on-site power solutions are attracting increasing attention. The dollar value of the company’s fuel cell demand grew 140% year over year in early 2026, reaching $6 billion, showing strong momentum.
5. NextEra Energy $NEE
is a large electric utility company that is also expanding into renewable energy. As AI data centers continue to expand, long-term electricity demand is expected to increase, potentially benefiting companies that provide reliable power. Compared with high-beta growth stocks, these companies are more focused on the logic of rising electricity demand, cash flow, and dividends, making them suitable for investors interested in defensiveness and long-term returns.
6. Plug Power $PLUG
is also betting on hydrogen energy and fuel cells, hoping to build a complete industry chain from hydrogen production to power generation. If hydrogen achieves broader commercialization in data center power supply in the future, the company could gain new growth opportunities. However, the company has not yet achieved profitability, and both its financial and commercialization risks remain high, making it a high-risk, highly speculative investment.

Don’t Just Focus on Nvidia! Lithography Machines Suddenly Announce a 10% Price Increase—These 10 U.S. Stocks Are the Real “Shovel Sellers” of AI!
1. Nvidia $NVDA
Nvidia is relatively downstream in the industry chain, yet it remains a critical part of the entire AI infrastructure. Its advantages include not only GPU chips, but also the CUDA software ecosystem, developer network, and complete accelerated computing platform. It has a strong competitive advantage.
2. TSMC $TSM
Its investment in advanced-process R&D, yield management, manufacturing expertise, and customer collaboration would be difficult to replicate in the short term. No matter how strong AI chip design is, advanced wafer manufacturing and advanced packaging capabilities are still needed for large-scale delivery.
3. Micron $MU
No matter how powerful GPU computing is, performance will still be limited if data supply cannot keep up. High-bandwidth memory (HBM) is a key component in addressing the data-transfer bottleneck faced by AI accelerators.
4. ASML $ASML
ASML is the core global supplier of advanced lithography equipment, with exceptionally high technical barriers, especially in the field of EUV lithography. Advanced chip manufacturing depends on its equipment, and competitors will have difficulty providing alternatives at the same level in the short term.
5. Lam Research $LRCX
If lithography machines are responsible for printing circuit patterns onto wafers, etching equipment helps precisely remove unwanted materials from chips. The more advanced the chip process and the more complex the structure, the more important etching technology tends to be.
6. Applied Materials $AMAT
Chips cannot be produced simply by putting wafers into a lithography machine. They must also undergo complex processes such as deposition, etching, and materials processing. Applied Materials covers multiple critical manufacturing stages, and AI chips, HBM, and advanced packaging could all generate additional demand.
7. KLA $KLAC
What is the biggest fear in chip production? Not being unable to make chips, but having an excessively low yield after making them. KLA focuses on semiconductor inspection and metrology, helping wafer fabs identify manufacturing defects, control process deviations, and improve yields.
8. Teradyne $TER
As AI chips become increasingly complex, they must undergo rigorous testing after production to verify that their performance, power consumption, and reliability meet standards. Teradyne is a major supplier of automated semiconductor test equipment and also operates businesses related to industrial automation and robotics.
9. MKS $MKSI
Semiconductor manufacturing requires more than just lithography and etching machines. It also requires technologies such as precision vacuum systems, gas control, optics, and lasers. MKS provides related equipment and solutions for semiconductor manufacturing and other precision industries.
10. Axcelis $ACLS
Ion implantation is a critical process for controlling the electrical properties of materials during chip manufacturing. Axcelis focuses on ion implantation equipment and has an established business presence in power semiconductors and certain memory-manufacturing segments.

Would you dare add to your ETH position at $2,495?
ETF net outflows reached $542 million over five days, and the price was slammed from 2778 to 2406 before moving sideways at 2495—was this a major-player shakeout, or just halftime in a bear market? Would you dare make a move?
First, the surface picture: sideways movement, declining volume, and neither bulls nor bears have a clear direction.
The 24-hour range is 2474-2506, with virtually no movement today. Market cap is $305 billion, ranking second. It is still 50% below the August 2025 ATH of 4946. This is not the launch point of a new trend, but consolidation after pulling back from above 2700. Contract liquidity is very deep, and 2495 is stuck between the retracement low and rebound high—there is room in both directions, but whoever moves first gets hit.
First point: ETFs are selling, led by BlackRock.
From October 5-9, U.S. crypto ETFs saw total net outflows of $1.29 billion, including $542 million from Ethereum ETFs, with BlackRock's ETHA accounting for the largest share.
This was one of the key reasons the price fell from 2700 to 2406. There are no new spot ETF products or major regulatory tailwinds, and funds are digesting the previous overheating.
In plain English:
Institutions are not charities. When money flows in, they call you their sweetheart; when it flows out, they turn on you. The ETF channel is real, but it is reversible—lifting prices during inflows and crushing them during outflows.
Don't treat ETFs as a faith; they are merely the wind direction. When the wind stops, even pigs fall.
Second point: The Glamsterdam upgrade is a medium-term narrative with no short-term use.
On October 6, the Glamsterdam upgrade was activated on the Sepolia testnet, including changes such as ePBS and block access lists. The Hoodi testnet will follow on October 26, while the mainnet date has not yet been set.
This is a medium-term scaling narrative, not a price catalyst for this week.
There have also been reports of a rising unstaking queue on-chain. In 2026, fee burns will cover only around 2% of new issuance, so net supply is still increasing—ETH is not a strictly deflationary asset.
Don't treat the upgrade like an aphrodisiac. Its effects have not kicked in yet; first see whether the money stays.
Third point: The technical picture is stuck in the middle, waiting for confirmation.
The daily chart pulled back from 2778 to 2406, a decline of about 13%, which is a normal retracement. Volume is now declining as the price moves sideways, with RSI around 40, neutral to slightly weak.
Key levels:
Strong support: 2406-2410 (the October 8 low). A daily close below it puts the next level at 2350-2360.
Near-term support: 2460-2475. This is today's low and the daily support zone, with 2495 sitting at the upper edge of support.
Near-term resistance: 2510-2520. Today's high overlaps with daily R1. If it cannot reclaim this level, the rebound is merely a repair move.
Strong resistance: 2565-2650, followed by 2700-2750. Without a high-volume close back above 2600, it will be difficult to retest the previous high.
On the 4-hour chart, 2406 is a demand reaction level, while 2495 has not yet engulfed 2520. The structure is “waiting for confirmation after a drop,” not the start of a right-side major uptrend.
2495 is the middle price: for longs, resistance lies above; for shorts, support lies below. This is a meat grinder, not an ATM.
Bulls versus bears—judge for yourself
On one side:
The institutional ETF channel genuinely exists
The L2 ecosystem continues to expand, with staking participation at high levels
The Glamsterdam upgrade is a medium-term positive
Thailand's spot ETF rules take effect on October 16
On the other side:
ETF outflows reached $542 million over five days, led by BlackRock
The Fed's September hike brought rates to 3.75%-4.00%, and the minutes were hawkish
10-year Treasury yields are at 5.2%-5.3%, showing insufficient risk appetite
BTC fell from 87000 to 82800, with dominance at 59.5%
ETH dominance is only 10.9%; it moves with the broader market and has no independent trend
Trading strategy
This is a major asset that can be traded in swings, but 2495 is a midpoint and is not suitable for a heavy position. Keep any single coin below 10% of your risk capital, with leverage capped at 2-3x.
Short-term long:
Wait for a pullback to 2460-2475 to hold, then for the 1-hour chart to reclaim 2490 before entering. Place the stop-loss below 2430. First target: 2520; second target: 2565. Entering directly at 2495 means resistance is immediately overhead, so the risk-reward ratio is insufficient.
Breakout long:
If the 4-hour chart closes above 2530 on heavy volume, then look toward 2600-2650. Move the stop-loss back below 2490. Do not follow a false breakout without volume.
Short-term short:
If 2510-2520 meets resistance and volume fails to follow, take a small short position on the pullback, with a stop-loss above 2540 and targets at 2470/2420. Since 2495 is already close to support, it is not suitable for chasing a short.
Swing trading:
The medium-term logic is L2 expansion and the ETF channel, but macro interest rates and fund flows are the ceiling. More comfortable entry zones are 2410-2450 after volume contracts and the price stabilizes, or after the daily chart reclaims 2600. If the daily chart closes below 2406, pause the medium-term bullish view and reassess at 2350. Only when ETFs return to average daily net inflows and the price holds above 2600 should this retracement be treated as consolidation before a major uptrend.
ETH is not failing to rise; the people who buy it simply have not returned yet.
If you chase in at 2495, the upside cannot open up, while the downside opens straight to 2406. Don't bet on direction at the midpoint; wait for the market to show its hand.
Focus on this week's ETF net flows and the October 27-28 Fed meeting.
