$ETH is steadily approaching the $2,000 level, a key resistance zone that many traders are watching closely.

A decisive breakout and successful reclaim of this level as support could strengthen bullish momentum and pave the way for the next leg higher. Market sentiment has been improving, but this remains an important test that could determine Ethereum's short-term direction.

If buyers manage to take control above $2,000, the move could attract even more interest and push $ETH toward higher price targets. ‌#GUSDYieldRisesto3.8%

Robin chain PvP is pretty interesting—kind of like what Solana looked like in the early days, but with Base’s slow pace. Last night I p’ed more than 20 coins, getting out around 500+ u; mainly $buttercoin didn’t catch it. When I watched the chart, it was already 1m. Even when I just threw in a bit, it doubled. They say that right now, among the different chains, the Robin chain at midnight has the best environment—it’s got the same vibe as last summer’s livestream catching dogs.

$63 HYPE—are you in fear or greed?

First, the surface: it pulled back, but it didn’t break down.

On June 16, it just set a new all-time high at $76.8, and now it’s fallen back to around $63, down 18%. In 7 days, it’s down 6.89%, and for the month it’s down 10.81%—sounds scary? But in 6 months it’s up 198%, and from the start of the year it’s up 146%. Market cap is $15.9 billion, firmly in the top ten across the entire market.

$58-60 is strong support from the 100-day EMA—today it just reclaimed and bounced.

First thing: $283 million buyback, directly burning the token.

On July 3, Hyperliquid executed a $283 million repurchase—this is the largest single buyback in the crypto industry since 2026.

The platform takes 97%-99% of trading fees and uses it to buy HYPE in the open market, then immediately destroys it.

Cumulatively, it has already repurchased over $1.1 billion, and burned over 44 million tokens.

The annualized deflation rate is about 7%, which is 4.6x Ethereum’s burn rate and 5.8x BNB’s.

Second thing: ETF inflows keep coming in—institutions buy, retail panics.

Three firms—Bitwise, 21Shares, and Grayscale—have already listed HYPE spot ETFs. As of the week of July 13, the HYPE spot ETF had net inflows of $10.36 million, and cumulative net inflows have reached $309 million.

Even more extreme: the HYPE spot ETF has never had a day with net outflows.

Third thing: HIP-4 just went live, and a whale immediately staked $15.5 million.

On July 20, Hyperliquid announced the HIP-4 upgrade—anyone can permissionlessly deploy prediction markets, but it requires staking 500k HYPE (worth more than $500k). This effectively turns HYPE into a “ticket for prediction markets.”

The very next day after the news—July 21—a whale with cumulative profits of $2.37 million staked 249k HYPE, worth about $15.5 million.

Bull vs bear—judge for yourself.

On one side:

$283 million single buyback, cumulative buybacks over $1.1 billion, annualized deflation of 7%

HYPE spot ETF keeps net inflows, and never has a single-day outflow

HIP-4 goes live, the prediction market track opens up, and whales immediately stake $15.5 million

Seasonal trading volume $633 billion, accounting for 60%-80% of on-chain perpetual contract share

Strong support holds at $58-60, and technical bounce signals appear

On the other side:

A pullback of 18% from $76.8—short-term trapped capital needs digestion

There were token unlock pressures in July

Broader market risk-off mood, with BTC ranging around $63k

$63-65 is near-term resistance—if it can’t break, it may keep ranging

Key levels:

Top resistance: $63-65 → $68-72 → $76-78 (previous high)

Bottom support: $58-60 (100-day EMA + strong support) → $53-55

For short-term traders:

Try long lightly around $63, stop loss at $58.5, target $68-72. If it breaks $65 with volume, add more.

For swing traders:

Buy in 2-3 batches at $58-60, stop at $57, target the $76-78 previous high; if it breaks, look for 100+. Don’t go all-in—wait for a volume-confirmed break above $65-68.

For long-term believers:

Set up buys below $60 and keep averaging in with your eyes closed. HYPE is one of the few scarce assets in 2025-2026 that combines “real revenue + token deflation.” Protocol revenue is there, buybacks are there, ETFs are there—so when it pulls back, it’s basically free money.

Right now, HYPE is the classic example of “fundamentals exploding, price discounted”—

99% of people see an 18% pullback and think “it’s over,” but they don’t see the $283 million buyback, they don’t see the ETF with zero outflow days, and they don’t see the whale just staking $15.5 million.

On the day $65 breaks, you’ll realize:

It’s not that HYPE isn’t good—it’s that you keep cutting losses at the lowest point of each pullback. #GUSD年化升至3.8% #VIP专享4%年化理财 #夏日创作营 $BTC $ETH $HYPE

Silicon Valley network king Jcal: $AAPL is a perfect buying opportunity right now!
Why?
Just like the first-generation iPhone in 2007, the first-generation Apple AI will also take over the entire market.
Apple can directly put local large models into the iPhone, and it’s infinite tokens—once it rolls out local AI at scale, $Anthropic , $OpenAI can only be under pressure!

In a bear market, liquidity is essentially mutual bloodletting.
Today I looked at CoinGecko’s newly released Q2 report: the global Top 10 spot trading volume shrank by 27.9% (from 2.7 trillion being dumped down to 1.95 trillion), and the overall market is basically stagnant.
But if you look closely at the structure, it’s very interesting: platforms supported by a “top-up listing” strategy saw their spot volumes directly cut in half and drop out of the top ranks, while Gate’s share actually squeezed up against the trend from 7% to 11%. Its growth rate from May to June was first across the whole network, directly pushing it into the global top three.
This isn’t any kind of market-wide dividend—this is pure zero-sum competition for existing liquidity.
When the market is brutal, capital and market makers become extremely picky—if someone’s order book can’t be filled, or the slippage is large, users will definitely switch platforms.
After using it over the past few years, it feels like Gate isn’t just winning solely on the traditional “listing speed” anymore.
While laying down deep spot order-book liquidity, it also connects to Polymarket prediction markets and launches CFD and other cross-industry playbooks—basically, it funnels the hottest on-chain trends and traditional finance tactics into one entry point.
A bear market is, at its core, a brutally ruthless selection process.
As fake liquidity retreats, everyone who gets drained and everyone who gets fed is clearly visible in the on-chain data.
At this point, I can’t help but say: Gate is awesome!!!!!

Trump finally bowed down! Can the CLARITY Act clear the finish line before the August recess?

What has the crypto market feared most over the past month?

Not the Fed’s rate hikes. Not a surge in oil prices.

It’s the CLARITY Act that might be killed.

For most of July, the spotlight on this bill was stuck on a single paragraph—nothing to do with the SEC vs. CFTC jurisdiction split, and not about DeFi exemption provisions. The entire bill stalled on a seemingly simple question:

Can officials profit using digital assets?

The Democrats asked for one more clause: a ban on the president, vice president, members of Congress, and other federal officials from profiting from digital assets while in office.

The Republicans: removed it.

Just that one clause nearly toppled the bill right before the finish line.

Why?

Because everyone knows exactly who that clause targets—Trump.

His meme coins, his World Liberty Financial. Even the financial disclosures from June alone show he earned hundreds of millions of dollars through WLFI. Get him to sign a bill that limits his ability to make money? Are you kidding?

So the bill was effectively sentenced to death for a while.

On Polymarket, the probability of passage slid to 31%, and the market nearly gave up hope. The Senate is set to recess on August 8, leaving only the final two weeks.

Then the turn came.

On the afternoon of July 20, the White House reached an agreement on the ethics provision, and the text was sent to some Republican senators. According to industry sources, Trump approved the proposed ethics language that same night.

You read that right—Trump agreed.

The man whom the outside world believed would “never” sign a bill limiting his crypto interests actually signed it.

Even so, there are still caveats on the news front: other reports say Trump did not formally sign during last week’s meeting, and the Democrats have not yet seen the latest text. The revised bill is expected to be released within the next few days.

But the direction is clear.

Even more aggressively—Patrick Witt, chair of the White House Crypto Committee, was originally scheduled to report to the Georgia Army National Guard on July 27 for mandatory military training. He applied directly for a delay, staying in Washington to push the bill.

If someone who has to go to military training chooses to stay and work overtime, how important do you think this is?

Alright—can it be completed for a vote before the August 7 recess?

My judgment: yes, but extremely tight.

The Senate needs seven votes from Democrats to move forward. Once the ethics provision is settled, Democratic votes will most likely return—because this is a requirement they themselves proposed. Now that it’s been met, there’s no reason to keep opposing it.

But procedurally, the timeline is too tight: after the Senate passes it, the bill must go back to the House for review before it can be sent to the president for signing. With the August 8 recess, at most there’s a little over two weeks left.

Still, there’s one detail worth noting—

The House passed the bill back in July 2025 by 294 votes to 134. In May of this year, the Senate Banking Committee also advanced it 15 to 9. In other words, the bill’s support base has always been there—the only sticking point was this ethics “thorn.”

Once it’s pulled out, what’s left is just the process.

The market is already speaking.

Today (July 21), Bitcoin broke above $65,000, trading at $65,817 (+0.88%), reclaiming a key psychological level. Ethereum rebounded to above $1,930. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded net inflows for 4 straight trading days.

The Fear & Greed Index is still at 25 (extreme fear), but sentiment is clearly repairing.

What is the market betting on?

Betting that the CLARITY Act passes—so U.S. crypto regulation will finally have rules to follow. SEC and CFTC jurisdiction will be clearly separated, and exchanges, custodians, and token issuers won’t have to survive on “enforcement regulation” anymore. Institutional capital can enter openly and legitimately.

Trump isn’t a saint, but he knows when to compromise. The CLARITY Act can make it to today not because politicians suddenly fell in love with Bitcoin—it’s because if they don’t pass it now, all U.S. crypto capital will run to Europe.

A single bill, stuck on one person. One person nods, and the entire industry changes its tune. This is the crypto world of 2026.

Can it be completed for a vote before August 7?

Yes. But don’t expect a smooth ride.

The Democrats haven’t seen the final text yet. The revised version could come out as early as tonight, or it might get delayed a few more days. Any new controversy could close the window.

But the direction is irreversible.

Are the altcoins you’re holding right now betting on the “regulatory bull” after CLARITY passes?

A few years ago, a friend of mine missed out on the major they wanted and got assigned to Electrical Engineering instead. They tried to switch majors to CS after failing, but it didn’t work—and they almost fell into depression afterward.

As it turned out, over the past two years, hardware has taken off right along with the stock market, and Electrical Engineering is the “version’s chosen one” now. It’s really one generation of version, one generation of gods…

When I was choosing a school, I also didn’t think I needed to use every single point to “maximize” everything. For subjective questions like this, there isn’t really a correct answer. Now, mainly doing trading, what major you studied isn’t that important either. The twists and turns of life’s encounters—this is about as ironic as it gets. Let everything happen, and believe that everything is the best arrangement.

In recent days, the market has been rising, and today the fundamentals also brought some positive signals:

1、ETF funds reflow, providing support on the spot side
On July 20, US spot BTC ETFs recorded total net inflows of about $226.8 million, while ETH ETFs saw net inflows of about $38 million.
This means this leg of the rally isn’t entirely just short-covering in the futures market—there is indeed incremental spot buying pressure, which is especially favorable for BTC.
However, it’s important to note that inflows in a single day only offer short-term support. Only if net inflows persist for consecutive days can the current weaker mid-term capital positioning be truly changed.

2. The macro environment is not purely Risk-on
There is a clear contradiction in the market right now:
Softer inflation data earlier helped risk assets recover, but geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have reignited. Brent crude briefly rose above $90, long-end US Treasury yields moved higher, and the market started pricing again in energy-inflation risk. US stocks fell overall on Monday, indicating traditional risk assets have not fully confirmed an expansion of the latest risk-on appetite.
This explains the current coin price characteristics:
Prices are strong, but the macro environment hasn’t fully aligned.
Therefore, once oil, the US dollar, and US Treasury yields continue to rise, after BTC and ETH sweep the liquidity above, they are prone to a fast pullback.

3. Ahead of the FOMC, the market enters a pre-game phase
The Federal Reserve will hold an FOMC meeting on July 28–29, followed by the release of the initial estimate of Q2 GDP and June PCE on July 30.
This week lacks US economic data at the same level, so in the short term, the market is mainly driven by:
Middle East developments and oil prices;
US Treasury yields;
earnings reports from large US tech companies;
BTC and ETH ETF fund flows;
These factors drive the move.

US and Korea Stock Morning News|July 21
US stocks are trading choppily at high levels with divergence, while Korean stocks have rebounded strongly by 3% after a de-leveraging storm.
US stocks: mixed gains and losses, AI computing power strengthens against the trend
Last night, the three major indexes closed slightly lower, but the market was a mix of “ice and fire.”
Apple fell 2%, Tesla slid 3%, and Oracle dropped 4%.
AI compute stocks surged across the board: IREN jumped 19%, and Hut 8 rose 10%+.
Storage chip sentiment picked up: Marvell, Micron, and Western Digital all gained 2-4%.
Sentiment: hedge funds are selling tech stocks at a record pace, and capital is starting to rotate from AI into consumer and energy sectors. The market isn’t bearish on AI—it’s just rotating holdings at high levels.
The Nasdaq is down nearly 3% from its peak; in the short term it’s looking for support around 25,500.
Korean stocks: an “absolute counterattack” after the crash
Yesterday, KOSPI plunged 4.46%, and today it rebounded directly by 3%+; Samsung Electronics is up more than 5.5%.
The core reason for this crash can be summed up in one word: leverage.
The 2x-leverage ETFs from Samsung/SK Hynix launched at the end of May, drew retail capital into a frenzy. Since July began, forced liquidations have exceeded 340 billion KRW, and more than 300,000 accounts have been cleared.
But a turnaround has emerged:
Foreign capital bought 500 billion KRW against the trend during the crash+
The South Korean president said he will address the problem of leverage products
SK’s chairman said next year, demand for AI chips will rise 60%-100%
As de-leveraging nears the end, the fundamentals haven’t broken—what’s falling is sentiment and positioning structure.
Key focus points this week
Tech giants such as Google, Microsoft, Meta, and Amazon will release earnings reports in close succession this week. Their AI capital expenditure guidance will determine the next direction for the entire semiconductor chain (including Korean chip stocks).
US stocks are digesting at high levels, Korean stocks are gambling from low levels—this week’s earnings season is the deciding factor.
