Honestly, I’m really bullish on the CATE IP because it has the potential to become a new Pepe. But how should I put it—PVP is too severe, and there isn’t a truly legitimate, rightfully recognized one. On the SOL side, that’s the leader—lots of people, but they aren’t OG. And the SOL outcome will all be held by the same weakness of being pinned by some platform, so it won’t be able to get on that platform; meanwhile, Ethereum mainnet is OG, but it’s already lost its hype. If there’s still hype like Neiro has, then even if that platform lends a hand, and another Neiro-type incident happens—could

You definitely have a friend like this—holding BTC in their hand, they don’t sell in a bear market and don’t sell in a bull market. When you ask why they don’t take it and use it, they just say one thing: “Putting it anywhere is never safer than keeping it in your own wallet.”
There’s actually nothing wrong with that. Over the past five years, there have been plenty of attempts to bring BTC into DeFi, but after winding around, it always comes back to the same old problem: either trust an institution, or trust a bridge, or trust a packaged IOU. For true holders, these three options are essentially the same thing—handing your coins over.
So while Bitcoin’s market cap is in the trillions, the proportion entering DeFi is below 1%. It’s not a lack of demand—it’s a lack of a channel.
Babylon Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV) is trying a different route.
---
TBV’s core logic isn’t complicated: BTC stays unmoved on the Bitcoin mainnet. It uses pre-signed transactions plus cryptographic proofs (the BABE protocol, developed in cooperation with the Berkeley cryptography team) to manage the locking and liquidation logic.
You open a vault with your BTC, then borrow USDC on Ethereum. Repay normally through the redemption flow; if you’re liquidated, it executes the pre-signed path. Throughout the process, there’s no need for a multisig committee, no need for cross-chain bridge custody, and no need for wrapped assets.
Self-custody, isolated custody, one vault for one user.

$BTC closed July up 7.3%, still holding above the monthly 50MA around $60.7K. Look at the pattern since 2017 though, every cycle top has been followed by 3-4 months of sideways chop before the next leg starts, and this one's tracking almost identically so far.
$57.7K is the level that matters right now. Lose it and the "healthy consolidation" narrative gets a lot harder to defend. Hold it and this just looks like accumulation before whatever comes next above $67K.
ISM data today, the Iran ceasefire easing some macro pressure, rate fears still lingering in the background, plenty pulling in both directions. History says patience here has paid off before. Doesn't mean it repeats.

Let’s talk about trades in BTC and gold:
On the weekend, I went short BTC; the plan was around 63,750, but I entered earlier on the weekend around 63,310.
The 63,750 sell order posted in the morning also got filled.
Today, it also reached the predetermined target at 63,580.
I’ll continue to hold a short order at 62,900–63,000.
At 62,200, it’s hard to hold; the plan is to take another look around the 61–60K area.
I haven’t decided yet how low it will go from below, but it’s weak now and the macro outlook is bearish.
Go short with the trend. Keep the possibility of 59K.
Below 60K is also a pretty good spot to buy the dip.
I also went short gold today.
The target is 4,015; I plan to test 4,000 again, and it could even break below 4,000.
But it’s fine if it breaks below—breaking below is a good thing, because it creates a chance to buy the dip.
After that, you need to cherish the opportunity to buy the dip if it breaks below 4,000; the extreme case would be a new low around 3,900.
I’m optimistic about the BTC and gold market ahead—late August’s drop is an opportunity.

The principle is: take $SNDK Sandisk with the strongest rebound as an example—whether you’re shorting or going long, after combining everything, if the market can give you a single-day move of 30%, that requires a very large amount of capital and a lot of conviction, and this conviction doesn’t support ending after just a one-day rebound. Of course, if you happened to catch the bottom before that day, then that really is picking up the easiest and most comfortable move.

BEAT at $3.3—dare you catch this throwing knife?

First, look at the surface: it’s a straight-down bloodbath, but someone is quietly taking the bag.

From the June $11 ATH down to $3.3—halved, then halved again. Down almost 7% in 24 hours, and down more than 20% in a week. If you chased it at the $11 peak, your face is probably green right now.

On August 1, 21.25M BEAT were unlocked (worth $68 million) and flowed into the market—yet the price didn’t collapse. Instead, it rose 11% to $4.49, even briefly surging to $4.7.

First thing: the unlock didn’t dump the market—because someone is burning like crazy.

21.25M BEAT entered circulation, accounting for 6.9% of the circulating supply at the time. Under the “normal script,” such a massive supply shock should make the price drop at least 20%.

So what happened? Buyers simply ate the selling pressure.

Why? Because Audiera’s “revenue-burn” mechanism is working—platform weekly revenue is nearly 100% used to buy back and burn BEAT. In the last week of July, 797k BEAT were burned (worth about $1.84 million). Total burned has already exceeded 17M BEAT.

Second thing: institutions are buying, and whales are hoarding.

On August 1, the day of the unlock, BEAT spiked 17% to a six-week high of $4.7. The driver was whales actively and heavily buying.

Retail is panicking that the unlock will dump, while big players are taking advantage of the panic to accumulate at low prices.

Third thing: fundamentals haven’t broken, and the narrative is still alive.

Audiera is a Web3 rhythm game + AI music platform on BNB Chain (“Dance & Earn”). Total token supply is 1 billion, with circulating supply around 310-330 million.

Weekly revenue is nearly 800k BEAT (about $2 million), and it’s all used for burning

The Agent Economy roadmap has been released—AI agents will autonomously generate, own, and trade value

This isn’t a pure meme coin. It’s a GameFi project with real revenue, a burn mechanism, and an AI narrative.

Long vs short—judge for yourself

Bulls are accumulating:

$68 million of unlocks absorbed by the market—price not only didn’t fall, it rose

Nearly 800k BEAT burned each week—deflationary mechanism is working

Whales accumulating heavily in the $3-4 range

Market cap around $1 billion, down 70% from ATH—valuation has been significantly compressed

Bears are scaring people:

Down from $11 to $3.3—the trend is clearly downward

More token unlocks to come—the supply pressure isn’t over

Competition in the GameFi sector is intense; user retention remains questionable

High FDV (fully diluted about 3 billion+), price sensitive

Key levels

Resistance overhead: 3.60-3.80 → 4.20-4.50 → 5.00+

Support below: 3.20-3.30 → 3.00-3.10 → 2.60-2.8

For short-term traders:

Try a light long near the 3.20-3.35 support area, stop loss at 3.00, target 3.60-3.80. If it breaks below 3.00 and confirms, leave decisively—watch 2.60-2.80.

For swing traders:

Wait for a volume-backed break and hold above 3.80-4.00 before entering on the right side, target 4.50-5.00. Or wait for a pullback into the strong support zone of 3.00-3.10 and build in batches.

For long-term believers:

Only suitable for a very small position (1-2%)—betting on Agent Economy + continuous burning driving value back. But remember—there’s always a chance altcoins go to zero. Don’t go all-in.

BEAT right now is like AXS from 2021—

GameFi + real revenue + deflationary mechanism, rising from a few dollars to over a hundred. But during the drawdowns, it can wash 99% of people out.

At $3.3, this isn’t a bottom or it’s halfway down the mountain.

If it’s a bottom, you’re cutting at the most painful spot.

If it’s halfway down, you’re trying to grab it on the tip of the blade. #Gate独家美股0费率 #USD1持币生息最高8% #美伊举行谈判油价显著下跌 $BTC $AXS $BEAT

On taking profit: I once had a crypto-trading buddy say in a conversation, “For a coin, what do you think is more likely—the probability that today it pumps by 30%, and tomorrow it keeps pumping you another 30%, or the probability that it pulls back by 10%?” That’s exactly the simple logic. As for this rebound in the cycle, here’s how I see it: 1. The violent surge on July 30 has, in all likelihood, already ended the decline from the highest point;

Bitcoin monthly update 📈

$BTC closed July +7.32%, holding above the Monthly MA50 ($60.7K).

The chart is still following a familiar cycle: a potential consolidation period before the next major move higher.

Key levels:

Support → $57.7K
Resistance → $67.2K / $74K

Bullish: • Strong ISM data
• Reduced macro uncertainty

Risks: • More sideways action until October
• Stock market correction
• Rate concerns

Holding the Monthly MA50 and Weekly MA200 keeps the bigger picture bullish.

To be honest, I’m really bullish on CATE as an IP, because it has the potential to become a Pepe. But how do I put it… the PVP is too intense, and there isn’t a truly legitimate one. On Solana, the one that’s the leader has a lot of people, but they’re not OG. And in the end, Solana’s outcome will be clamped down on by some stablecoin—its life gate will be pinched—so it can’t go on the stablecoin. As for the Ethereum mainnet, it’s OG, but it no longer has any momentum. If there were momentum like NEIRO, then even if some stablecoin plays an assist, and another NEIRO-style event happens again, the momentum would still be on the other side. In that situation, even going forward wouldn’t let it become a Pepe, because PVP leaves those projects with stains. It’s a pity, so I didn’t get involved further in this IP. I only casually grabbed a bit of Ethereum mainnet CATE. As for how, I don’t care.

What are the “god predictions” for 2026?
I’ll go first:
In this BTC cycle, there may be one final drop yet, and it’s not out of the question that it could return to around 40,000.
At the end of 2026 to the beginning of 2027, these few months are the absolute bottom for BTC for the next few years.
No matter what profession you have now, or what age you are.
Start thinking of ways right now, in the remaining time, to earn enough discretionary capital and then put it into BTC at the time points above—this is a big opportunity for ordinary people to complete the initial accumulation of capital.

$62,700 BTC—A rare signal appeared

First, look at the surface: bearish pressure is piling up, and panic is spreading.

On August 3, BTC was at $62,700, down 1.26% over 24 hours. It has retreated more than 50% from the October 2025 high of 126k. YTD is down 28%, and 1 year is down 44%. Market cap has shrunk to $1.26 trillion. The price has fallen to around the 200-week moving average. The monthly RSI is 43. Trading volume is shrinking—either it’s forming a bottom, or it’s headed for a breakdown.

First thing: Coldcard was swept for 90 million, but you might be getting fooled.

A hardware wallet firmware vulnerability caused $70 million–$90 million to be drained, involving thousands of wallets. The media exploded: “Bitcoin isn’t safe! Run!”

Sounds scary? But take a close look—this is a firmware issue with the hardware wallet, not the Bitcoin network being breached.

Second thing: MicroStrategy has losses, but the real problem is that the “buy only, never sell” narrative is loosening.

Strategy recorded a large loss in Q2 due to BTC fair value changes, and it clearly stated that in the future it may sell BTC to replenish its U.S. dollar reserves, support preferred stock dividends, or repurchase shares.

This is the first time in four years that MicroStrategy has eased up and said it “may sell.”

But the real value is that it gives the market a reason to test the 60,000 “iron bottom.”

Third thing: a “super bullish signal” you probably never noticed.

The share of supply held by short-term holders has fallen to 23.5%.

Short-term speculators are decreasing, and the coins are shifting hands—from “easy panic sellers” to “the ones who refuse to sell no matter what.”

Historically, whenever this number drops below 25%, it has always marked a major mid-term bottom.

Fourth thing: macro pressure is heavy, but August may reverse.

The Fed kept interest rates unchanged at 3.50%–3.75% on July 29, with three votes in favor of a hike. At one point, the probability of a rate hike in September surged to 60%–80%.

August 7: Non-Farm Payrolls data

August 12: CPI data

If the data comes in soft (inflation cools, employment weakens), the Fed will instantly switch from “hawkish” to “dovish,” and BTC could take off in an instant.

Although August is a seasonally weak month for crypto, a weak season plus low prices equals the best dip-buying window. In August 2023 and August 2024, it played out the same way.

Bulls vs. bears—see it for yourself.

On one side:

Short-term holders’ supply share is 23.5%, a historical low—holdings are highly concentrated

Price is near the 200-week moving average (~63,000)—historically strong support

Long-term holders’ supply continues to rise; HODLers are accumulating

Cumulative ETF net inflows are still $50 billion—institutions haven’t run

If CPI/Non-Farm Payrolls skew soft, rate-cut expectations will spark a rebound

On the other side:

MicroStrategy has hinted it “may sell BTC,” loosening the institutional narrative

The Coldcard incident reinforces security concerns

Three votes for a rate hike, with a 60%–80% probability of a hike in September

If it breaks below 61,000, it could accelerate to 57,000–55,000

Key levels

Overhead resistance: 63,500–64,000 → 65,000–67,000 → 69,000–72,000

Below support: 62,400–62,500 → 61,000–62,000 → 60,000 → 57,000–58,000

Short-term traders:

Go long in batches at 61,800–62,500 with a stop loss at 60,800, targets 63,500–65,000, and some positions could be held for 67,000. Reduce exposure or try shorting near 65,000–67,000, and use a strict stop loss.

Swing traders:

Wait for the daily candles to expand in volume and reclaim 65,000 before chasing longs on the right side, targeting 70,000+. If there is a confirmed, effective breakdown below 61,000 and it holds, the bearish target is 58,000–55,000.

Long-term believers:

Around the 200-week moving average (below 63,000) is a historically strong window for dollar-cost averaging. The target by end of 2026 is 80,000–90,000, and in 2027 it could be 100,000+.

History tells you this:

Every bull cycle starts when “everyone thinks it’s all over.”

The last drop in BTC could happen in October. The Fed may raise rates in September, and the Bank of Japan (BOJ) may also raise rates in October. The main reason for the drop may still be Japan’s yen and Japanese bond moves; after this round of yen appreciation ends, the depreciation pressure afterward could be even stronger. A major selloff in October is very likely to be unavoidable. Then, once the November election is finalized, risk capital flows back—that’s when it’s time to buy the dip.

The Fed’s probability of a September rate hike has been pushed to above 80%, and this plot twist is almost ridiculous. Not long ago, everyone was betting on a rate cut; as a result of geopolitical tug-of-war in the Middle East and a sudden spike in oil prices, the Fed’s internal debate exploded with a 9-to-3 split—so much so that Wosch even said it was like a decent, real-life family feud. Now, the market immediately repriced September for a rate hike, and BTC and those crypto concept stocks got hit on cue. The most realistic part is that “big pie” is now stuck at 6.2.

I even confirmed it on the phone: “Is there a big difference between this photo and the real person?” “Not really—she’s just a tiny bit fatter than in the photo.”

I thought to myself: “The photo looks pretty slim. It’s fine if she’s just a little fatter.” When she showed up, damn it—I mean, it was like she’d added 20 years overnight, and she even put on 30 jin. I’m telling you, that’s me saying it too lightly.
