How much is one sentence from Trump worth? HYPE has the answer.
On August 19, Trump said one sentence at a crypto industry meeting at the White House:
“CFTC Chairman Mike Selig is pushing for Hyperliquid to enter the United States in a fully compliant and legal manner.”
HYPE immediately surged, gaining between 11% and 23% that day. Listed company Hyperliquid Strategies (PURR) rose more than 30% intraday. CME Group fell 3.4% in response, while Cboe dropped 6.1%.
A decentralized trading platform sent the stock price of the more-than-200-year-old Chicago exchange group plunging.
This is not a story. It is happening right now.
But after HYPE surged from $51 to $83.5, rising 37.5% in seven days and 220% year to date—
How much is the “compliant entry into the US” narrative actually worth?
Don’t rush to shout “$100.”
Being singled out by Trump ≠ CFTC approval.
At present, neither the CFTC nor Hyperliquid has announced a formal application, registration structure, or timetable for opening access in the United States.
To enter the US, Hyperliquid will have to accept a series of compliance requirements, including KYC verification, customer asset segregation, and market surveillance. Each of these requirements weakens its product differentiation advantage over CME and Coinbase.
A platform that requires no account opening or KYC and allows trading directly through a wallet—once it is “brought under official control,” is it still the same platform?
Research institutions believe the more likely implementation would be a permissioned HIP-3 deployment—allowing access only to whitelisted users, with the registered entity assuming KYC and compliance obligations.
In other words: the compliant version of Hyperliquid may not be the same thing as the one you use now.
But capital does not care about these details.
On August 27, the HYPE spot ETF recorded $24.42 million in net inflows in a single day. The Bitwise ETF saw $23.21 million in inflows that day. Cumulative historical net inflows have reached $340 million.
The protocol has generated $1.27 billion in cumulative revenue and has burned 48.17 million HYPE.
AQAv2, launched on August 26, uses 90% of the yield generated by more than $14.18M in USDC deposits on the platform to buy back and burn HYPE. It is expected to add an extra $135 million to $160 million to the annual buyback volume.
Buybacks are accelerating, and institutions are entering.
On August 29, 14.18 million HYPE worth approximately $1.2 billion were unlocked.
But whales are not worried. That day, one address bought another 243.7k HYPE, spending $20.24 million. Four anonymous addresses withdrew 675k HYPE worth $53.92 million from Coinbase and transferred them directly into Hyperliquid staking.
On the unlock day, whales bought the dip.
HYPE’s market cap is nearing $19 billion. Analysts believe the next target is $92, while the probability of reaching $100 by the end of 2026 has surged from 16% a week ago to 42.5%.
But money chasing policy expectations comes with a lot of heart-pounding volatility.
How much is one sentence from Trump worth?
HYPE answered you with an 11% gain.
But there is still the CFTC’s approval, the SEC’s position, HIP-3’s technical modifications, and countless legal documents between that sentence and an actual compliance license.
And don’t forget—the deeper the regulatory involvement, the more its “decentralization” is compromised.

He says it’s about to drop, but he just won’t sell—the difference between a pro and a bagholder comes down to this one step
Famous trader Doctor Profit said today:
“Bearish sentiment toward Bitcoin will intensify over the next few days, and pressure on the bulls will increase.”
Then he added:
“I’m not shorting or selling. I’m continuing to hold my spot position opened at $62k.”
Wait—you know it’s going to drop, but you’re not selling?
That’s not a contradiction.
This is the most brutal dividing line between a pro and a bagholder.
First: he is forecasting sentiment, not price.
He said “bearish sentiment will intensify”—it’s the “sentiment” that will intensify, not that the “price” will drop.
Who is he trying to shake out? Bulls who chased the rally and people with weak conviction in their positions.
In plain English: he knows a group of bagholders will be scared out of the market, but he won’t be one of them.
Second: the $71k–$82k range is not a prediction; it’s a script.
$71k is the floor, and $82k is the ceiling.
This is a quantitative confirmation of the market’s overall divergence.
$82k has already become the widely recognized dividing line between bulls and bears. The previous week, Bitcoin briefly surged above $81k before being slammed back to $77k. $4 billion in short liquidity has accumulated above $82k—whoever moves first can devour the other side.
Third: he is betting on the “eventual outcome,” not “immediately.”
“Whether the breakout happens on the first attempt or the third.”
Most people only care about whether “it will rise tomorrow,” while he cares about “where it will ultimately go.”
In the face of a trend, time is merely noise.
A month ago, he closed his Bitcoin short positions from $115k to $125k, another short from $79k to $82k, and more than 100 altcoin shorts, all for a profit.
He shorted for nine months, precisely capturing the entire decline, then reversed to go long at $64k.
What he is holding now is spot acquired around $62k.
Other people’s positions are costs; his positions are spoils of war.
What he is really trading has never been price movement.
It is the vulnerability of the opposing side.
A pro anticipates a pullback but does not participate in it.
Because he knows—trying to guess the top and trying to guess the bottom are both the most expensive trades in this market.
Today, BTC is moving sideways around $78k, while the $82k upper boundary still hangs overhead like a knife.
Some people see risk; others see opportunity.

Killa’s “contradictory script”: Is the bottom at $62k, but will the $20 billion in long positions have to die first?
Killa published an article last night. I read it three times.
In the same article, he made two statements:
First: “The bottom of this Bitcoin cycle may already have formed, and a drop to $50k in October is highly unlikely.”
Second: “If Bitcoin drops to $61k, the expected value of long liquidations could reach as high as $20 billion. Market makers have the incentive and possibility to liquidate long positions first and then rebuild their positions.”
Wait.
The bottom has already formed—but $61k would liquidate $20 billion in long positions?
How can these two judgments possibly both be valid?
Either his thinking is muddled, or—he is talking about something that the vast majority of people have failed to understand.
Killa is a BTC-focused quantitative trader who accurately predicted the top of this bull market in May 2025 and has 200k followers on X.
In mid-April this year, he shorted Bitcoin at $74,688.
On June 5, during the market-wide downturn, he switched to long positions, investing 90% of his capital.
On August 24, he said $70k–$73k was the bottom.
On August 29, he revised the bottom down to $62k.
Every one of his shifts was supported by quantitative data.
So what exactly is his logic?
Previously, he looked at cycle patterns and the proportion of profitable addresses—that was a macro perspective.
Now he has switched to the micro-level game of “market makers liquidating long positions and then rebuilding their positions.”
What does that mean?
The $62k level was not calculated by a model. It is a direct response to the current leverage structure.
The market makers’ script may look like this:
First, drive the price below $61k—trigger stop-loss orders on those $20 billion in long positions—accumulate enough coins at low prices—and then push the price back up and build positions at a new bottom.
The bottom can hold, but the path to reaching it may involve a targeted cleanup of leveraged positions.
The bottom and liquidations are two sides of the same coin.
If you believe $62k is the bottom and place orders with your entire position immediately—that may not be the optimal solution.
What is the better strategy?
Wait for that wick below $61k to appear.
Let the market makers fire the final bullet for you, and then enter the market.
The bottom has arrived, but the road is not flat—a $20 billion “speed bump” is waiting for the bulls.
What do you think? Will the long positions at $61k be deliberately wiped out, or is Killa manufacturing panic?#Gate7天净流入全球Top3 #BTC重返81000美元 #Strategy股价突破135美元 $BTC $SOL $ETH

ZEC at $840: Are you chasing or running?
Look at the surface first: doubled in a week, then stalled.
From August 21-24, ZEC surged almost vertically from $570 to $888, hitting an almost eight-year high. Grayscale’s spot ETF officially listed on the NYSE, the Ironwood upgrade sealed off the old vulnerabilities, and the privacy narrative was repriced. But after peaking, consecutive bearish candles followed, with $840 repeatedly caught in a tug-of-war and no clear direction. RSI fell from overbought at 88 to around 60, while the MACD histogram narrowed. The direction remains undecided.
First: The ETF has launched, but you may be fooled by “sell the news.”
On August 25, Grayscale ZCSH officially began trading on NYSE Arca, becoming the first spot privacy-coin ETF in the United States. Around the listing, the price hit $888, and the community celebrated: “Institutions are coming to take our bags!”
But—the ETF’s initial assets were approximately $300 million, with a 2.5% fee. That is a completely different scale from the tens-of-billions level on the day of the BTC ETF launch. Institutional entry takes time; listing today does not mean an explosive rally tomorrow.
Second: The Ironwood upgrade was not just about patching a vulnerability—it was about rebuilding trust.
In June, a circuit vulnerability allowing counterfeit coins was exposed in the Orchard privacy pool, sending ZEC directly from $680 to $250. What happened next? The development team released a patch within 48 hours, and the Ironwood hard fork went live in July—sealing off the old pool and launching a new one, while using “revolving door” accounting rules to lock in supply integrity.
The market spent three months repricing “vulnerability panic” into “the team can fix issues, and supply is trustworthy.” From $250 to $888, it rose 3.5 times.
Third: The macro environment is starting to cool.
BTC fell from $81,000 to $77,700 this week. Newly appointed Federal Reserve Chair Warsh struck a hawkish tone in his Jackson Hole debut: PCE is around 3.7%, and “there is still work to do.” The market raised the probability of a September rate hike, and crypto saw liquidations totaling around $490 million.
For a high-beta altcoin like ZEC, when the broader market softens, its pullback is much harsher than BTC’s.
You decide the battle between bulls and bears
On one side:
Grayscale’s spot ETF is listed, opening the institutional channel
The Ironwood upgrade fixed the vulnerability and rebuilt supply trust
A hard cap of 21 million, with the next halving expected around 2028
A weekly cup-and-handle breakout, flipping the top of a multi-year range
On the other side:
The ETF has only $300 million in assets, so short-term buying power is limited
Shielded-pool adoption is only 25%-31%; the narrative exceeds the reality
It rose 3.5 times from $250 to $888, leaving substantial profit-taking pressure
The Fed is hawkish, and a BTC pullback is dragging down altcoins
$840 sits right in the “failed retest of the previous high zone,” leaving no clear direction
Resistance above: 850-860 → 870-888 (August high) → 920 → 1000
Support below: 800-810 → 780-800 (the bulls’ lifeline) → 750-770 → 720-740
Trading strategies
For conservative traders:
Wait for a pullback to 790-800, then try going long after a stable 4H close, with a stop-loss at 748-755. Take profits in batches: 850-860 → 880-888. Reduce your position first at 888; don’t fantasize about reaching 1000 in one candle.
For aggressive traders:
Only chase the breakout if the daily close holds above 860 and the retest holds 840. Targets: 888 → 920 → 1000. Stop-loss: 828-832.
For short-term short sellers:
If a clear upper wick and rising volume with stagnant price appear at 840-855, cautiously try a short with a light position. Targets: 800 → 780. The stop-loss must be tight: do not stubbornly hold overnight above 865. If 888 is taken out on heavy volume, admit the mistake.
Invalidation conditions:
If the daily close falls below 750, the medium-term structure weakens; do not buy the dip yet. If BTC loses 76000 again and accelerates lower, ZEC will likely follow.
This move from 250 to 888 was a full-blown “resurrection from the dead” for ZEC—
99% of people thought “the vulnerability means it’s going to zero,” yet the ETF listing sent it to an almost eight-year high. Now that it is moving sideways at 840, it is the same familiar formula again: retail traders are agonizing over whether to chase, while institutions are waiting for a lower entry.
On the day 888 breaks through, you will realize:
It wasn’t that ZEC was incapable—it was that you FOMOed at the top and capitulated at the bottom every time.

$81 HYPE—would you dare to buy the dip?
First, look at the surface: ATH fell 6% in two days, and retail traders are shouting, “It’s being dumped.”
It surged to a new all-time high of $86.8 on August 27, then gave back its gains to $81 within two days, a decline of about 6%. Today also happens to be the largest monthly unlock—14.18 million HYPE entering the market, worth $1.15 billion.
But the candlesticks tell you this: $81 hasn’t collapsed, and trading volume is still above $1 billion. This isn’t a slow grind down. The unlock isn’t the end of the world; sentiment is in control.
First point: $1.15 billion worth of tokens unlocks today, but the number may scare you senseless.
14.18 million HYPE (about $1.15 billion), accounting for 1.4% of total supply and creating an impact of about 2.7% on circulating market cap. Structure: early investors/insiders account for 46.6% (about $560 million), the community 46.3%, and the foundation 7%.
Sounds scary? But look closely at two facts:
First, an unlock does not equal a sale. After unlocking, insiders can choose to dump immediately, stake and lock up their tokens, or have institutions take them off-market.
Second, the market has already priced it in. The two-day decline on lower volume after the ATH was the market digesting this expectation. Once the unlock actually happens, it becomes “the bad news is out.”
Second point: HYPE isn’t an ordinary altcoin; it’s a “buyback machine.”
Many people treat HYPE like a shitcoin, which is a huge mistake. At its core, it is an on-chain version of high-growth exchange equity plus a buyback-and-burn machine.
Core mechanism: the protocol directs 97-99% of fees into the Assistance Fund to buy back and burn HYPE.
Product position: the leading Perp DEX, with a long-term on-chain perpetuals share of 50-70%; its daily trading volume, OI, and fees far exceed those of its peers.
AQAv2 has just gone live: returns from USDC reserves will be used for programmed buybacks and burns.
Third point: the chart has produced a key signal.
Daily RSI has fallen from extremely overbought levels to 65-70—“cooling down after overheating,” but it hasn’t reached oversold territory. The pattern looks more like a test of the lower boundary of a flag/channel after making a new high, not a head-and-shoulders top.
$81 is currently the midpoint of the vacuum zone, with bulls and bears both waiting for the unlock results.
Bulls vs. bears—you decide
On one side:
AQAv2 is live, and programmed buybacks are about to be executed at scale
Institutions (Bitwise, the PURR treasury) are staking/accumulating, not selling
The undisputed leader in Perp DEXs, with annualized fees once reaching the $1 billion level
97-99% of fees used for buybacks and burns, with a rigid deflationary mechanism
The U.S. compliance narrative is progressing, while the medium-term premium has not yet been priced in
On the other side:
14.18 million tokens unlock today, creating $1.15 billion in potential selling pressure
The Jackson Hole speech turned hawkish, and BTC fell from $81k to $77k
It just made an ATH, so profit-taking needs to be absorbed
FDV is about $77-80 billion, so the valuation isn’t cheap
Upside resistance: 83.5-85.0 → 86.6-86.8 (ATH) → 90-92
Downside support: 79.3-80.0 → 78.0-78.7 (key) → 75-76 → 72-73
Trading strategy
Scenario A: Open a small long position around $81
Condition: 4H holds above 79.2, and BTC holds above $75.5k
Entry: Scale in at 80.5-81.5
Stop-loss: Daily/4H close below 77.8 (don’t set it at the round number 78; it’s easy to get swept)
Target 1: 83.5 (reduce by 1/3), Target 2: 86.5-87.5 (reduce again), Target 3: 90-92 (keep only a runner)
Scenario B: What if it breaks below 78?
Wait for 75-76 to show a high-volume long lower wick or bullish divergence on the 4H before considering longs
If even 73 is lost, close all swing longs and wait for the structure to rebuild
Scenario C: Short if the rebound fails at 84 (very short-term countertrend trade; position size must be much smaller)
Can enter if 83.8-84.5 is rejected and volume contracts
Stop-loss above 86.2
Targets: 80/78.5
Spot/low leverage: Buy a small amount around $81, add below 78, and don’t chase at 86. Within 12-24 hours after the unlock, if 79-80 holds and BTC stabilizes, build up the swing long again.
The mid-term logic hasn’t changed: the protocol is still generating fees, institutions are still accumulating, and the U.S. compliance narrative is still progressing. What has changed is that “the price has already bought the good news far in advance.”
HYPE is like SOL in 2024—
99% of people think “the unlock means a crash,” but every unlock turns out to be an opportunity for sidelined traders to get on board.
On the day 86.8 breaks, you’ll realize:
It wasn’t that HYPE was no good; it’s that you sold at the bottom of the unlock panic every time.

Gold at $4,465—would you dare buy the dip?
First, look at the surface: hawkish remarks plus a large bearish candle, with bulls bleeding heavily.
At Jackson Hole on Friday, Fed Chair Warsh said, “Inflation hasn’t fallen enough; we still have work to do.” The market instantly pushed the probability of a September rate hike from 35% to 55-60%. Gold plunged straight down from its 4600+ high, hitting a low of 4445 and breaking below the 200-day moving average (4527) with one long bearish candle. After rising 14-16% in the first three weeks of August, it gave back one-third of the gains in a single day.
First: What did Warsh say? It was all “correct nonsense.”
“2% inflation is a firm target.” “Year-on-year PCE at 3.7% is still too high.” “We have work to do.” Was there any new information in these statements? No.
But why did the market plunge? Because it had been too optimistic. This August rebound was driven by bets that “rate hikes are over and rate cuts are near.” Warsh simply poured cold water on the party.
Retail investors are panicking that “rate hikes are coming,” while institutions are closing long positions and taking profits.
Second: Not a single part of the medium- to long-term logic has disappeared. What are you afraid of?
Central bank gold purchases: Net purchases totaled 289 tons in Q2, and the PBOC has increased its holdings for 18 consecutive months. Gold ETFs: They returned to net inflows in July. The US fiscal deficit: The debt continues to snowball.
What was weakened on Friday was only the short-term “debasement trade” narrative, not gold’s fundamentals. The dollar can strengthen in the short term because of hawkish remarks, but can America’s debt problem be solved by a single speech?
Third: The technical picture has produced a key signal.
Friday’s bearish candle opened higher and moved lower, with a long body and a short lower shadow—classic heavy selling pressure. Breaking below the 200-day moving average at 4527 shifted the short-term structure from “uptrend” to “pullback/consolidation.”
But the key point is that 4445-4450 held.
This was Friday’s low and the neckline of the previous upward structure.
Bulls vs. bears—you decide
On one side:
The September rate hike probability is 55-60%, creating short-term pressure on non-yielding assets
Breaking below the 200-day moving average, with the technical picture leaning bearish
A large amount of profit-taking accumulated during August’s rebound, and the selling pressure needs to be absorbed
A stronger dollar plus rising US Treasury yields
On the other side:
Central banks bought a net 289 tons in Q2, and institutions continue accumulating gold
Gold ETFs saw net inflows in July, with funds buying the dip
The US fiscal deficit is a long-term positive (the debasement logic)
4445-4450 is the previous neckline plus Friday’s low, with buyers providing support
Geopolitical risks remain (the Middle East and the Strait of Hormuz)
Resistance above: 4525-4530 (200-day moving average) → 4550-4570 → 4620 → 4650-4700
Support below: 4445-4450 (Friday’s low) → 4410 (20-day moving average) → 4320-4300
Trading strategy
Short-term traders:
If the price first dips to 4440-4450 and forms a bottoming candlestick (a high-volume bullish candle or a long lower shadow), cautiously try a long position with a target of 4520-4530 and a stop-loss at 4420. If it breaks directly below 4440 and accelerates, a short-term short is more favorable, targeting 4410 or even 4320.
Swing traders:
Wait for the price to reclaim 4530-4550 before considering long positions, targeting 4650-4700.
Long-term believers:
Accumulate in batches below 4400. Central bank gold purchases plus fiscal deficits plus the rate-cut cycle—the medium- to long-term outlook remains sound.
Gold right now is like BTC at the end of 2022—
99% of people think “it’s going to plunge further,” but every pullback turns out to be a historic bottom.

ETH at $2,435—would you dare buy the dip?
First, look at the surface: a surge followed by a pullback, leaving retail investors panicking.
In mid-August, ETH violently rallied nearly 35% from around $1,900, reaching a high of $2,560, then pulled back to the current $2,435. Derivatives liquidations over the past 24 hours nearly reached $500 million, with longs suffering massive losses. The candlestick chart tells you this: the price is right at the channel lower band of $2,420-$2,440; the 50-day moving average is $1,991 and the 200-day moving average is $2,018. The price remains far above both moving averages, the medium-term bullish trend is intact, and the short term needs consolidation.
First: Institutions are buying aggressively, while you are panicking?
ETH ETFs have recorded net inflows for 10 consecutive trading days, with $102 million flowing in on August 28 alone, while weekly inflows hit a new high for 2026. BlackRock’s ETHA accounted for the bulk of the inflows, while BitMine (Tom Lee’s side) has continued buying, with its holdings nearing 4.8% of the circulating supply.
Institutions dared to buy at $2,800-$2,900. At $2,435, they are even more willing to buy.
Second: The Fed says “more rate hikes are needed,” but you may be overreacting to the fear.
At Jackson Hole on August 28, Fed Chair Kevin Warsh made hawkish remarks: “Inflation has not yet returned to the 2% target. We still have work to do.” The probability of a September rate hike was quickly revised higher, sending BTC from above $80k to around $77k, with ETH pulling back as well.
July PCE inflation was 3.7%, still some distance from 2%, but it has already fallen sharply from its peak. The federal funds rate is 3.50-3.75%, already a restrictive level.
The market is wavering between “keeping rates higher for longer” and “possibly hiking once more,” but either way, the rate-hike cycle is already nearing its end.
Third: A signal has appeared on the technical front that must be taken seriously.
On the daily chart, ETH broke out of a long-term consolidation from around $1,900 in mid-August and formed an ascending channel, then encountered resistance and pulled back near the $2,560 high. The current price of $2,435 is right at the channel lower band/recent support zone of $2,420-$2,440. RSI has fallen from overbought levels above 70 to 69-70, while MACD remains above the zero line but momentum is slowing—a typical “time to take a breather after rising too much,” not a trend reversal.
The bulls and bears face off—make your own judgment
On one side:
Institutional ETF net inflows for 10 consecutive days, with BlackRock continuing to lead the buying
A staking ratio of 30-34%, with the circulating supply continuously locked up
ETH has become an “internet bond,” changing the logic behind institutional allocations
The price remains far above the 50/200-day moving averages, and the medium-term bullish trend is intact
On the other side:
Hawkish remarks from the Fed, with the probability of a September rate hike revised higher
Thin weekend liquidity, making it easy for sentiment to amplify moves
Short-term profit-taking (SOPR remains >1)
If the price breaks below the channel lower band at $2,400, it may retest $2,360-$2,300
Resistance above: $2,480-$2,500 → $2,550-$2,580 (recent high) → $2,800-$3,000
Support below: $2,420-$2,440 → $2,360-$2,400 → $2,300 (medium-term bull-bear dividing line)
Trading strategy
Short-term traders:
Wait for a bullish reversal candlestick (hammer or engulfing pattern) after a pullback to $2,420-$2,440, then cautiously open a small long position, with a stop-loss at $2,380, a first target of $2,480-$2,500, and a second target of $2,550-$2,580. If a rebound to $2,490-$2,520 encounters resistance, consider a small short position, with a stop-loss at $2,550 and a target of retesting $2,420.
Swing traders:
Reduce positions and wait if the price breaks below $2,400; do not stubbornly hold on. As long as the daily chart does not decisively break below $2,300, the medium-term outlook remains bullish, and a pullback is a better entry window. If the price breaks through $2,550-$2,600 and holds above it, add to positions on the right side and target $3,000.
Long-term believers:
Use dollar-cost averaging in batches below $2,400. With staking lockups + continuous ETF inflows + the Glamsterdam upgrade (raising the L1 gas limit to 200 million and significantly increasing throughput), the medium-term narrative remains intact.
ETH now looks just like Bitcoin in 2023—
99% of people thought “it has risen too much and should fall,” but every pullback turned out to be a historic bottom.
The day $2,550 breaks through, you will realize:
It was never that ETH was incapable—it was that you sold at a loss every time, at the darkest moment before dawn.

BTC at $77,700—did you get shaken out?
Look beyond the surface: Rate hike odds surged to 57%, and longs were slaughtered.
At Friday’s Jackson Hole meeting, newly appointed Fed Chair Kevin Warsh’s first speech was hawkish—PCE inflation is at 3.7%, with the 2% target “firm, fixed”; September rate hike odds jumped directly from 35% to 57%. BTC crashed from $80.3k to a low of $76.9k, dropping a full 3%, while $480 million in longs were liquidated.
Friday’s low of $76,800 held, and today’s low-volume consolidation is hovering around $77,700, with RSI retreating from overbought levels and recovering as the market waits for direction.
First: The Fed talked tough, but institutions are voting with real money.
Translated into plain English, Warsh’s speech was: “Inflation is still high. Don’t expect me to cut rates anytime soon; I might even hike again.” The market reacted immediately—Treasury yields surged, the dollar strengthened, and risk assets collapsed.
But monthly US spot BTC ETF net inflows exceeded $3 billion, with inflows continuing for 8–9 consecutive trading days. Although Friday saw a shift to $200 million in net outflows, institutional buying throughout August was real.
Second: The $81k hurdle is the real problem.
The upper boundary of the downtrend from the $126k all-time high is right around $81k. The 50-week moving average is also at $81k. During August’s move from $62k to $81.5k, BTC challenged $81k three times and was knocked back three times.
$81k–$86k is a massive supply zone—long-term holder costs, options Gamma, and previous trapped positions are all stacked there. To break through, volume and macro support are both required; missing either one makes it futile.
Third: You need to clearly see the cracks in the fundamentals.
The institutional channel is solid support: Total ETF assets are approximately $100 billion, IBIT continues to attract funds, and August inflows reached $3 billion. There was also large-scale short squeezing in mid-to-late August, creating a resonant rally together with ETF buying.
But there are cracks too:
Compared with the $126k all-time high, BTC is still down 38%
ETF flows overall remain net negative so far in 2026; August only recovered half of the outflows
High interest rates have not ended, and funding costs remain unfavorable for leverage
Large amounts of trapped positions around $80k have just broken even, and selling pressure could surge at any time
The bulls and bears—judge for yourself
On one side:
August ETF inflows exceeded $3 billion, with institutions entering with real money
Friday’s low of $76,800 held, and buyers are still supporting the market
The 200-day moving average is at $69k, and the trend structure is recovering
US national debt has surpassed $40 trillion, and the long-term “inflation hedge” narrative is not dead
On the other side:
$81k has failed three times, with the upper boundary of the downtrend effectively capping the price
September rate hike odds surged to 57%, and the macro backdrop suddenly turned hawkish
Trapped positions around $80k are breaking even and creating selling pressure
Low-volume consolidation on Saturday, poor weekend liquidity, and a possible trend change on Monday
Resistance above: 78,300–78,800 → 80k → 81k–81,500 (critical line) → 83,000–86,000
Support below: 76,800–77k (Friday’s low) → 75k–75,500 → 73,000 → 69,000–70,000 (200-day moving average)
Trading strategy
Bullish approach:
Go long with a light position on a pullback to 76,800–77,200, with a stop-loss at 76,400 or 75,500; target 78,300–78,800, with a second target of 79,800–80,200. Consider adding only after holding above 80,000, targeting 81,000.
Bearish approach:
Only consider shorting after an effective break below 76,800 (confirmed by a 4-hour close plus increased volume), targeting 75,500 → 73,000. Don’t actively open shorts at 77,700; weekend liquidity is thin, and a false breakout could easily trigger your stop-loss.
Breakout strategy:
A daily close above 81,100 followed by a successful retest is the only genuine trend-reversal signal.
Position-sizing rules:
Risk no more than 1–1.5% of your capital per trade
Keep leverage within 5–10x, and lower on weekends
Monitor funding rates; positive long funding plus rapidly rising OI means beware of a long squeeze
Don’t hold a heavy position overnight before Monday’s open
August’s rebound was of decent quality, and institutional buying is real, but the $81,000 hurdle (the upper trendline, 50-week moving average, and supply zone) has not been cleared, while the macro backdrop has suddenly turned hawkish again.
Around $77,700 is a “wait-for-direction” level, suitable for range trading but not for betting on a direction.
First, watch whether $76,800 holds. If it does, continue grinding sideways and choose a side afterward; if it doesn’t, reduce your position and wait, then reassess around $75,000.
The market will give you a second chance. Those who rush to go all-in on the weekend are usually no longer around ten years later.
On the day $81,000 breaks, you’ll realize:
It wasn’t that BTC was incapable—it was that you chased every time at $80,000 and sold at $77,000.

81,500 didn’t break through—not because Bitcoin is weak
10 p.m. Beijing time, August 28, Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh took the podium and said a few words.
Four hours later, $2.3 trillion evaporated from global markets.
Bitcoin? It had just touched $81,455 before the speech—and was at $76,877 an hour later.
81,500 didn’t break through, not because Bitcoin is weak, but because Warsh said one thing—
“We still have work to do.”
In the Fed’s official language, this is the closest thing to “preparing to hike rates.”
September rate-hike probability: 35.4%→55.7%
All from a 30-minute speech.
The day before, the market was still betting on “holding rates steady.” After Warsh finished speaking, that probability jumped 20 percentage points.
Since taking office, he has consistently followed a “say less” approach: cutting forward guidance, shortening policy statements, and refusing to provide a rate path. The market had already grown accustomed to his ambiguity.
But this time, he wasn’t vague.
PCE inflation was 3.7% over 12 months and 4.1% annualized over six months—still miles away from 2%. Warsh said directly: We can’t wait.
An even harsher line: “I would have difficulty characterizing broad financial conditions as restrictive.”
Translated into plain English: Current interest-rate levels simply aren’t tight enough. There is still room to hike.
What does the market fear most? Not rate hikes, but uncertainty.
Give it a clear rate-hike path, and the market can price it in, hedge, and move on.
Give it nothing, and the market can only panic-sell.
What are we trading this year?
Last year, we were trading “rate-cut expectations.”
This year, we are trading “Will rate hikes come?”
The direction is different, but the core has never changed—macro narratives are always the primary driver of Bitcoin’s short-term volatility.
You can draw as many support levels as you want, study as many candlestick patterns as you want, and count as many waves as you want—
One sentence from Warsh can smash through them all.
The most ironic scene is unfolding
Spot Bitcoin ETFs have recorded net inflows for eight consecutive days, totaling $2.8 billion. Bitcoin ETF inflows surpassed $3 billion in August, making it the strongest month of 2026 so far.
The price? It fell from $81,455 to $76,877.
Institutions are scooping up coins while leveraged longs are being liquidated. Over the past 24 hours, $452 million was liquidated across the entire market, including $360 million in long positions.
Two things are happening simultaneously.
After Warsh weakened forward guidance, the market lost its anchor. From now on, every CPI report and every nonfarm payrolls report will trigger sharp volatility.#Gate7天净流入全球Top3 #BTC重返81000美元 #Strategy股价突破135美元 $BTC $ETH $SOL

Up 46% in August, with $1.2 billion flowing into ETFs over five days: SGP-0002 is igniting Solana’s “supply shock” narrative
SOL started August at around $73 and briefly broke above $110, gaining 46.9% for the month. This ended a record 10 consecutive months of declines.
Its strongest monthly performance since March 2024.
U.S. spot Solana ETFs saw net inflows for five consecutive days, totaling $1.22 billion. On August 24, daily inflows reached $33.5 million, the largest of 2026.
Bitwise’s BSOL surpassed $1 billion in assets under management, becoming the first Solana ETF to reach this milestone. It alone absorbed 80% of the entire Solana ETF market’s inflows.
Institutions are not testing the waters—they are buying aggressively.
But this is only half the story.
The other half is happening at the code level—SGP-0002.
On August 28, Solana validators passed the proposal with 67% support, raising the annual inflation reduction rate from 15% to 30%.
Over the next six years, SOL issuance will decrease by approximately 18.9 million tokens, worth around $1.4 billion to $1.5 billion. The timeline for reaching a final inflation rate of 1.5% will move forward from 2032 to 2029.
Supply is tightening while institutions are buying aggressively.
A supply-demand divergence is taking shape.
But don’t get excited too soon—
A reduction in supply does not necessarily mean the price will rise. On the day the proposal passed, SOL traded at around $105 and instead fell 1.2%. The market always prices things in ahead of time.
More importantly, validators’ staking yields are set to decline.
21Shares’ model shows that nominal staking yields will fall from approximately 5.25% to 4.34% in the first year, 3% in the second year, and 2.25% in the third year. Of the 738 validators, 2 will become unprofitable in the first year and 30 by the third year.
With validators earning less, will they still be willing to continue staking? Who will guarantee network security?
Solana company HSDT voted against it, arguing that predictable staking yields are necessary. The company earned $2.51 million from staking, and then its returns were suddenly cut—anyone would be upset.
SGP-0002 has put the “reduced supply” narrative on the table. ETF money is still flowing in. But whether the narrative can hold depends on whether the Solana ecosystem can make up for validators’ losses through transaction fees.
If it can, SOL’s scarcity narrative will come full circle.
If not, this will be yet another “buy the rumor, sell the news” story.#Gate7天净流入全球Top3 #Strategy股价突破135美元 #BTC重返81000美元 $BTC $ETH $SOL

Charles Schwab has moved ahead of all traditional brokerages with this move
In May, Charles Schwab launched spot BTC and ETH trading.
At the time, many people said: it was just a test.
Three months later, it announced the addition of SOL, AVAX, and LINK.
When Schwab launched BTC/ETH trading in May, its head of digital assets said it was about “giving clients the opportunity to access digital assets”—try it out, and if it doesn’t work, so be it.
In its August 27 announcement, it directly added SOL, AVAX, and LINK for trading.
SOL and AVAX are public Layer 1 smart-contract blockchains—Schwab has begun helping clients allocate to “ecosystem assets.” LINK is oracle infrastructure—even the underlying infrastructure of the crypto world is now being added to the allocation list.
From “buy a few coins for fun” to “allocate to an ecosystem.”
This isn’t just a numerical +3.
This is a generational leap in understanding.
On the day the news was announced, SOL rose 12.9%, LINK gained 5.5%, and AVAX climbed 3.6%. SOL briefly surged above $109, gaining more than 23% in a week.
Cumulative net inflows into U.S. spot Solana ETFs have surpassed $1.22 billion.
Charles Schwab is one of the largest discount brokerages in the world.
When a giant managing $13 trillion goes from “supporting only two” to “covering public blockchains and infrastructure” within three months—
Is this still just a test?
While Fidelity and Vanguard are still hesitating, Schwab has already pulled ahead
The Vanguard Group was still rejecting crypto products two years ago and has only just allowed clients to trade crypto ETFs. Fidelity is also making moves, but it is half a step slower.
Schwab launched BTC/ETH trading in May. By August, it had added SOL/AVAX/LINK.
While others are still studying “whether to enter the market,” Schwab is already thinking about “how to allocate across an ecosystem.”
That is the gap in strategic resolve.
Futu Securities said one thing: Global traditional finance’s allocation to crypto assets remains below 1%.
This move by Schwab shows that someone is acting on that remaining 99% of opportunity.
Schwab itself said it will continue adding more cryptocurrencies and digital assets in the future.
Schwab has opened the door—
Before the end of the year, you will see more traditional brokerages follow suit.
This is not a product announcement.
This is the starting gun.
Waller turned hawkish at Jackson Hole on Friday, Bitcoin fell below $80k, and the broader market was shaken.
But you can see the direction.
When an institution managing $13 trillion goes from “two” to “public blockchains and infrastructure” in three months—
It is not here to speculate.
It is here to position itself. #Gate7天净流入全球Top3 #BTC重返81000美元 #Strategy股价突破135美元 $BTC $ETH $SOL
