I was just about to go rant on the forum, but then I saw my balance and thought, never mind—the market—our daddy—is always right🙏. A few days ago, during my review before bed, $XAU looked incredibly strong, but in fact, every upward move lacked follow-through. There was insufficient support: no one was buying into the rise, and trading volume was pitifully low. I decided not to be polite with it and went straight short at 4641.00.
When I opened the charts this morning, XAU had obediently fallen to 4474.26, with floating profit at +346.4%. Staying up late wasn't in vain—I got the timing right.

This profit has me feeling nervous, afraid the market will catch on tomorrow and blacklist me 😂 When $XAUT plunged intraday, it looked like it had fallen, but when it bounced, there was no one taking the other side at all. Selling pressure grew heavier wave after wave, while volume barely followed. I judged that buying support was insufficient, so I opened a short at 4486.7 based on that thesis. Just checked and XAUT is at 4457.8—+59.87% is now quietly sitting in my account 🤑
