A recent security incident has reminded the crypto industry that even strong security tools depend on one critical element: truly random wallet generation.
According to reports, attackers exploited a flaw affecting certain hardware wallet seed generation, allowing them to predict wallet recovery phrases that should have been practically impossible to guess. The result was the theft of approximately 594 BTC, valued at around $38 million, within a short period.
