August CPI looked predictable at first glance. The market reaction tells a different story.
The latest U.S. inflation report showed headline CPI rising 0.4% month over month in August, while annual inflation remained at 3.4%. Both headline numbers were broadly in line with expectations.
But I would not stop the analysis there.
The more important number for the Federal Reserve was core CPI, which excludes food and energy. Core prices increased 0.3% MoM and 2.4% YoY. The monthly figure was stronger than the roughly 0.2% economists had expected, making the inflation picture less comfortabl

INFLATION HAS CHANGED THE GAME
The most important story this weekend is not simply whether inflation is rising or falling. It is the conflict between improving annual inflation and stubborn monthly pressure.
August CPI came in exactly at expectations, with headline inflation at 3.4% YoY, unchanged from July, while monthly CPI accelerated to 0.4%, the strongest monthly increase since May. Gasoline jumped 3.9% and contributed more than one-third of the monthly increase.
The deeper signal is more complicated. Core CPI cooled to 2.4% YoY, its lowest level since March 2021, b

$CP — I finally got the short setup I was waiting for. I first tried shorting around 0.04183, based on repeated resistance above, a false breakout without volume, and the price failing to reclaim the level on the pullback.

During the holding period, the price kept drifting lower. There were occasional spike rebounds, but volume failed to follow, so I treated them as weak rebounds. I placed the protection level above the entry price, took 80% off at 0.01493, and will see whether the price can continue breaking below the previous low while I hold the remaining 20%.

The profit is thin, but it grew on its own—I didn't touch it.
I opened the chart in the morning, $BR funds quietly entered, and the pullback held. I only suggested taking long positions in batches, with your protection level set—don't chase. From 0.21096 to 0.24694, +336.06%. Feeling good, brothers, we nailed this move. It was truly sluggish at first, but once it got going, it was truly sweet.
Have a strategy before the session, discipline during the session, and reflection after the session.

I was just about to curse it out, but then I looked at my account. Never mind—let it pump however it wants; I’ll shut up.
As $ETH funds quietly flowed in during the repeated intraday swings, it held firm on the pullback, so I told those in long positions not to get shaken out. From 1883.20 to 2536.52, +6033.3%—that feels damn good. It put us through the wringer before; now it’s our turn to cash in. This profit feels great—staying up through it all wasn’t in vain.

[$Lobster Signal] Long + 1H Breakout/Fund Support
$Lobster 1H RSI 87.64, with the 4H upper Bollinger Band at 0.1301 surpassed by the current price of 0.135773. The order book depth ratio is 2.73, with active bids below; the 4H MACD histogram is expanding while the 1H histogram is contracting, indicating divergence in the pace of buying-driven price increases. The funding rate is 0.0515%, OI is stable, and long crowding is not high. The current price is less than 1% away from the stop-loss, with a risk-reward ratio of 1.5; position control is more critical than directional judgment.

$BTC Dominance
We are in the boring phase much like in 2019.
At the start of a new cycle we can expect initial BTC outperformance followed by a huge nuke in btc dominance.
Even in theory dominance can't go much higher than 70% so with that in mind it just doesn't make sense to go heavy into BTC in the new cycle.

A few days ago, I nervously canceled the stop-loss, and looking at it today, it feels like I narrowly escaped. I sensed something was off before the market had fully got going.

$SNDK The rebound lacked strength and had all the signs of a bull trap, with each push higher weaker than the last. I directly warned to short at the highs—don't try to catch a falling knife.

From 1651.77 down to 1634.23, the short position secured +75.34%. It really dragged at first, but the result was truly satisfying.

Everyone is missing the short setup forming inside a tight range on SYMBOL right now.

$SAMSUNG /USDT - SHORT

Trade Plan:
Entry: 195.89 – 196.27
SL: 197.91
TP1: 194.71
TP2: 193.79
TP3: 192.42

Why this setup?
Why now? The 1h price is stuck at 196.08 inside a range-bound daily trend, and the 15m RSI at 51.87 shows neither overbought nor oversold, which means the next move will be violent. The 1h ATR of 0.762747 confirms enough volatility to hit targets quickly once momentum starts. The entry zone sits between 195.89 and 196.27, so the trigger is already visible but waiting for a sweep. If p

This was purely the market being in a good mood and casually scattering some gold coins—one just happened to hit me on the head.

Right after lunch, when I checked the chart, $AKE was still oscillating around 0.0088431, but every dip was quickly bought back up. Buying pressure was clearly strengthening, while sellers were losing confidence the more they dumped. If you don’t enter at a time like this, it’ll be too late to chase after it rises, so I followed in with a long position and set risk controls first.

By now, the price has risen to 0.0149433, with a 1697.93% gain firmly in hand. This

August CPI Is Out — But the Bigger Story Is What Markets Do Next
The August U.S. CPI report has given markets another important piece of information, but I don't think traders should look at the headline number in isolation.
Headline CPI increased 0.4% month over month, while annual inflation remained at 3.4%. Core CPI rose 0.3% MoM and 2.4% YoY.
For me, the most important part is not simply whether CPI beat or missed expectations. The bigger question is whether inflation remains sticky enough to keep Treasury yields elevated and limit expectations for easier F
