If ETH breaks through and holds above 1917, the market may trade in a range of around 1917 to 1940. The basis is that after entering a localized area of dense cost basis, there is a mean-reversion pattern. Once it breaks above around 1940 and stabilizes, that indicates the upper edge of the dense cost basis in this range has been cleared, and unidirectional liquidity is released—at which point you can look toward the prior high.
