As mentioned yesterday afternoon, trends driven by news cannot hold over the long term. After the market opened this morning, it followed the expected path. The broader direction remains unchanged, and rebounds are moves lower.
On the hourly chart, after rising to around 4,370, gold encountered clear resistance. Each rebound has continued to test lower levels, while upward momentum is now clearly insufficient. MACD has turned downward, and the red bars continue to contract and weaken, with bullish momentum gradually being exhausted.
