The market is once again testing the nerves of short-term holders. According to CryptoQuant, bitcoin has fallen below the cost basis of this investor category, and the situation is beginning to resemble a familiar scenario.
What is happening
The average purchase price of coins held in wallets for less than 155 days (STH Realized Price) is $67,523. Meanwhile, the current BTC price is around $64,950. The gap has reached $2,571, or 3.8%. This is the smallest difference since July 21, and it continues to narrow.
