A spokesperson for Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization said on May 25 local time that, after the temporary ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran took effect, 20 airports nationwide in Iran have resumed operations, meaning that about 40% of airports have restarted. It is reported that airports including Mehrabad Airport, Imam Khomeini International Airport, Mashhad Airport, Shiraz Airport, and Isfahan Airport have reopened. Tabriz Airport will also resume operations within the coming week.
