Coinbase B20 has the strongest structure.
real shares are held 1:1 with a regulated custodian in a bankruptcy-remote setup. holding the token gives you a claim on those shares.
this is probably the closest you can get to owning the stock onchain, but it is still not the same as holding it in your brokerage account.
Solana’s xStocks:
they are tracker certificates
you get the price exposure, not the shareholder rights. worse structure on paper, but a much better market
