I didn’t take much of a beating today and even made some gains, but honestly, I didn’t fully capture the short trade—I didn’t act according to my own plan.
August went fairly well overall, but I started getting cocky on the very first day of September. Making money really is a drug; people always unconsciously start thinking they’ve got it all figured out, and I nearly ran into trouble.
