The entry point for this trade was not perfect. I tried a long at the second-bottom formation on the $EDGEX hourly chart. The moving averages had not fully turned upward yet, so I could only use a small stop-loss to trade for room to capture later profits.
After entry, the market moved in a choppy manner. Several rallies were pushed back, making it look as though the trend was weakening. However, the key levels during each pullback never broke below the reference key level at entry, so I chose to reduce the frequency of my operations and let the position run.
