The market rally on a CPI surprise usually warrants its own discussion beyond the data itself. Headline CPI was down m/m for the first time since Aug 2020, down from 4.2% to 3.8% y/y, core was 2.6% (down from 2.9%). Fed July hikes have pulled back slightly on the news, yields down – nothing unusual to the usual playbook.
What has happened in the hours after has been interesting though: first risk assets cheered on the headline, but some of that pop was surrendered when the actual details

Right now, the price has been hovering right along the MA99 support level, and I think this area could see a rebound. For entries, you can watch the 0.1815 to 0.1862 range. The first target is 0.1908, and if things go smoothly, continue to look for 0.1964. The defensive level is at 0.1761.
Also, $BANK and $ESPORTS can take advantage of the upside opportunity as well.
Be mindful of the risks—never go all-in. If the MA99 support level breaks, it may continue moving lower, so everyone should manage position size according to their own account.

$MSTR Follow the short side. Everyone is frantically trying to pick the bottom right now, and I actually think this is a good spot to look the other way.
The current resistance area has already shown reactions. The bearish setup on the 4-hour timeframe remains valid, while the daily chart is still ranging. Price around 96.09 to 96.19 is clearly capped.
Take a look at the 15-minute timeframe: the RSI is just at 50, and there’s still room below for the shorts to perform. Also, the 15-minute trading volume has expanded by 4 times, suggesting there really are sell orders getting involved.
