Does a lower token count after a swap mean your assets have lost value?
A project migrates its tokens. You had 1,000 in your account, but after the swap you’re left with only 100. Does that mean you suddenly lost 90%?
Don’t just look at the quantity—check the conversion ratio.
Here’s a purely hypothetical example: the rule is 10 old tokens for 1 new token. Your original 1,000 tokens would become 100 at that ratio.
If each old token was worth $1 and the new token’s market price is exactly $10, the total value before and after conversion is $1,000. A lower token count doesn’t mean the value has
