What Is Web3 Digital Identity? From Privacy Protection to Cross-Platform Verification: Understanding the Next-Generation Internet Identity System
On the traditional internet, we usually need to create accounts on different platforms, submit information, and rely on each platform to manage our identity information separately.
But as more digital services connect to blockchain, digital assets, and cross-platform applications, an important question arises:
Can we prove that we meet certain requirements while reducing repeated submissions of personal information and maintaining greater control ove

#SpotGoldFallsBelow$4000 #WCTCS9 ‌Spot gold below $4,000: three clocks, one price at $3,993.46
Gold slipped under $4,000 for the first time since July, and at $3,993.46 the price sits almost on the line. A single number hides several time horizons, so I split the story into three clocks: what is moving the price this week, what the calendar will decide, and what supports it over the long run.
The next few days:
The move was a squeeze from several directions. Gold fell below $4,000 in Asian trade without a single trigger, pushed down by elevated yields, a firm dollar and forced selling. By th

Gold at $4,024.41: Is the Recovery Strong Enough to Reverse the Sell-Off?
Gold has reclaimed the $4,000 psychological level, but I would not call this a bullish reversal yet. The October 23 sell-off pushed spot gold down to approximately $3,986.50, its lowest level since July 20, before buyers returned and lifted prices back above $4,000. At your supplied reference price of $4,024.41, the market is attempting to stabilise after a sharp decline but the wider technical structure remains under pressure.
The important question is not simply whether gold can bounce. It is whether buyers can defend $4,000, overcome nearby resistance and change the momentum that drove the breakdown in the first place.
The macro story behind gold’s decline
Gold has been caught in an unusual conflict. Geopolitical uncertainty and elevated energy prices might normally support demand for defensive assets, yet rising oil prices are also increasing inflation concerns. That can push investors to expect interest rates to remain higher for longer, making a non-yielding asset such as gold less attractive.
Reuters reported on October 23 that spot gold had lost approximately 3.5% over the week and was heading for its steepest weekly decline since June. Brent crude had climbed to a more than five-month high amid concerns about energy supply disruptions. Markets were also reassessing the Federal Reserve’s policy outlook ahead of its October 27–28 meeting.
This is why gold can fall even when geopolitical risks remain elevated. If inflation expectations increase and real yields stay restrictive, the opportunity cost of holding gold can outweigh some of its safe-haven appeal.
Technical indicators: oversold pressure, but no confirmed reversal
The latest available daily technical snapshot, updated October 23, showed gold around $4,020.40. RSI (14) was approximately 31.45, close to the traditional oversold threshold of 30. That suggests selling has become intense, creating the possibility of a relief bounce. However, RSI near oversold territory does not guarantee that a bottom is in place.
MACD remained bearish, with the MACD line near -62.64 below its signal line around -57.11. Its negative histogram indicated that downside momentum was still present. The signal I would want to see is the histogram narrowing, followed by a bullish crossover that coincides with price recovering resistance.
The moving averages are also cautionary:
• 20-day EMA: approximately $4,172.50
• 50-day EMA: approximately $4,254.10
• 100-day EMA: approximately $4,313.10
• 200-day EMA: approximately $4,415.50
Gold remains below all four averages in this snapshot, indicating that the broader daily trend is weak. A recovery above $4,050 alone would not change that structure; the market needs to reclaim higher levels and sustain them.
Volatility is another factor. The same technical snapshot placed the 14-day ATR near $78.40, meaning sizeable intraday movements are possible. Traders should avoid treating a small bounce or a brief break below support as conclusive evidence of a new trend.
The price map: where the next decision could happen
At $4,024.41, gold is only slightly above the key $4,000 psychological threshold. This is the immediate area I would monitor.
Support zones:
- $4,000–$4,010: the first area buyers need to defend.
- $3,986–$3,990: the October 23 low region and the critical short-term breakdown reference.
- $3,950: a possible downside area if the recent low breaks decisively.
- $3,900: a deeper scenario to monitor if selling accelerates; it is not confirmed support.
Resistance zones:
- $4,037–$4,050: the first recovery barrier based on nearby technical references.
- $4,070–$4,085: the next zone where a bounce could meet selling pressure.
- $4,100: a psychological and technical checkpoint.
- $4,135–$4,175: a more demanding recovery area, including nearby pivot and short-term moving-average references.
These are working zones based on the available October 23 chart snapshot, not guaranteed turning points. Your supplied price of $4,024.41 and the published technical snapshot are not identical timestamps, so the exact levels should be rechecked against the live chart before trading.
Three scenarios I would prepare for
Bullish recovery: Gold holds above $4,000, avoids a fresh break below $3,986 and reclaims $4,050–$4,080. A sustained move above $4,100 would make the recovery more credible. Improving MACD momentum and a rising RSI would provide additional confirmation.
Sideways stabilisation: Gold remains between roughly $3,986 and $4,080. In this case, oversold conditions may support intermittent bounces, but neither buyers nor sellers have established a decisive advantage. Choppy price action could continue as the market waits for new macroeconomic signals.
Bearish continuation: Gold loses $3,986 on a sustained basis and fails to reclaim it. That would suggest the rebound has not repaired the short-term structure, bringing $3,950 and potentially $3,900 into focus. A stronger dollar, rising yields or renewed inflation concerns could reinforce this scenario.
The next catalyst is the Federal Reserve
The October 27–28 FOMC meeting and October 29 U.S. PCE inflation release are the next major events on my calendar. Reuters reported that market pricing on October 23 implied a 9% probability of a rate hike at the October meeting, rising to 81% for December. These are market-implied probabilities, not confirmed future decisions.
If the Fed signals that inflation risks require tighter policy for longer, gold could struggle to extend its rebound. If policy expectations become less restrictive and yields ease, the metal could gain room to recover. The PCE report will be important because it offers another reading on inflation pressures ahead of future policy decisions.
My conclusion: reclaiming $4,000 is step one, not the finish line.
At $4,024.41, gold has recovered from its October 23 low, but the technical evidence still favours caution. RSI is near oversold territory, while MACD and the moving-average structure remain bearish. That combination can produce a sharp relief rally without establishing a durable uptrend.
I would watch $4,000 first, then $3,986 on the downside. On the upside, $4,050–$4,080 is the first meaningful test, with $4,100 a stronger confirmation checkpoint. Until gold begins reclaiming resistance with improving momentum, I would treat the bounce as a recovery attempt rather than proof that the correction is over.
The key is to follow the reaction at these levels, not predict the outcome in advance. In a market driven by inflation, oil and central-bank expectations, confirmation matters more than a single green candle. @Gate_Square

$XRP is trading at 1.2827 USDT, down 2.66% in 24 hours, with 1-hour support at 1.2734 and resistance at 1.3283. Both lines are weak, and trading volume is only 0.02x. Oversold conditions have emerged, but the structure is still weakening, which cannot be taken as a sign of a bottom. Do you treat oversold conditions as a rebound signal, or wait for the price to stop making new lows? I’d rather view it as a post-oversold recovery opportunity; only if the price stabilizes above 1.2734 and volume expands significantly would that count as the beginnings of a reversal. If 1.2734 breaks and is not re

After digging through on-chain data all night, I found that the PEPE wallet Sun Ge had been holding for over a year has finally moved. 22 hours ago, Sun Ge’s address received 7.2 trillion PEPE in one go from a Tron multisig, worth $28.44 million at the time. It was the first time this address had touched PEPE since June 2024—a full 16 months. A look at the on-chain data shows that KOL Monkey Brother has also quietly bought over $2 million worth of PEPE recently. Looking back, his calls on AAVE and UNI this year were pretty spot-on. Do You Have to Pay Taxes on Cryptocurrency? Key Questions About Digital Asset Taxes, from Transaction Types to Compliance Records
In the cryptocurrency market, many people focus on purchase prices, sale proceeds, and trading fees, but may overlook another important question: How should gains from transactions be treated in the jurisdiction where you live?
Cryptocurrency tax rules are not uniform worldwide. Different countries and regions may have significant differences in how digital assets are classified, which events are taxable, how costs are calculated, and how taxes are reported.

$NEAR is currently at 4.502, down 8.34% over 24H. The 1H trend is weak, with an RSI of 28.6; the 4H trend is weaker, with an RSI of 10.1. Watch whether it can hold above 4.985 and reclaim 4.427 if that level breaks. Volume is only 0.47x the average of the last 20 bars, so participation needs confirmation. A Small Price Move, a Bigger Lesson About Leverage 🎃
Sometimes a trade reminds me that in futures trading, the percentage move in price is only part of the story. Leverage changes how that move affects your position, which is why I always pay attention to both the entry and the risk.
My WLDUSDT long was entered at 0.4761 with 30x leverage. When I captured the trade, the last price was 0.4788, and the displayed ROI was +16.63%.
The price moved in my favor, but I don't consider one profitable position proof that a strategy always works. A 30x position can amplify gains, bu

$BTC BTCUSDT | Liquidity Sweep Into Demand Zone
BTCUSDT has reacted strongly from a key demand area after taking liquidity beneath recent lows.
Price remains inside a corrective structure marked by the descending trendline, but sellers are beginning to lose momentum as the market approaches an important support region.
My attention is on the recent liquidity sweep near the range low, where buyers stepped in aggressively. If the current demand zone remains protected, a recovery toward higher resistance levels becomes possible.
