AI datacenters uses about 0.014% of the fresh water used by humanity. Maybe double that, to about 0.03% if we add the increased energy production.
By contrast, agriculture uses about 70% of the fresh water.
Here is an idea.
Start a company that uses AI to increase agriculture yield using less water.
This will save more fresh water than anything AI will ever use.
