Gold’s overall movement today has largely matched my view from this morning. After the Asian session opened, gold tested support near 4155 and then continued to rebound. Before the European session opened, it reached a high of 4190, just $10 below the upper end of this morning’s projected range at 4200, before pulling back. The pre-session low was $4158; on closer inspection, the intraday low was $4156.
Gold currently remains range-bound between 4150 and 4200. Tonight, watch for support near the 4150 floor. For trading, focus on the hourly chart pattern. If an upward reversal pattern forms aro
