Asset management and Bitcoin treasury company Strive spent $143 million last week (Beijing time August 24–28) to purchase another 1,800 BTC, at an average price of $79,431 per coin, including fees. Its CEO Matt Cole confirmed the transaction on social media on Monday Beijing time. The purchase brought the institution’s total holdings to 23,156 BTC, surpassing trading platform Bullish and making it the world’s fifth-largest publicly listed Bitcoin-holding entity.

Saturn Credit analyst Adam Livingston noted that Strive’s holdings expanded by approximately 8.4% in just five trading days. In the previous week (Beijing time August 17–23), the institution had already invested approximately $81.5 million to purchase 1,110 BTC at an average price of $73,409 per coin. Over the two weeks, it accumulated nearly 2,910 BTC, deploying nearly $225 million.
