crawl4ai, the top crawler on GitHub, turned one guy’s anger after getting burned by a $16 paid service into a 51,000-star open-source project.
Throw any website into it, and out comes clean Markdown that LLMs can consume directly. No API key, no account, no paying per page, and it runs even harder than those paid services.

Expectations for a high peak at the start of the year were followed by a sustained long-term decline; the probability has recently fallen further to a low of 14.5%, while market expectations for the bill to be enacted this year continue to cool.
