November 6, 2026 (Friday) BTC Futures Strategy for Today (based on the current range of approximately $75,300–$75,700)
Core view (bearish bias, cautious on rebounds)
BTC quickly fell from around $80,500 to around $75,500, breaking below recent support, with weak short-term momentum. Today, prioritize watching for a rebound to stall as a short opportunity, or consider going long only after a retest of lower support. Keep positions light.
Specific Strategies
1. Short the rebound (primary strategy)
• Watch zone: $76,500–$77,500 (or near $78,000)
• Entry reference: If the price rebounds to aroun

What Are Isolated and Cross Margin? Why Can the Same Leverage Ratio Produce Different Risks Under Different Margin Modes?

In crypto futures trading, choosing a margin mode is just as important as choosing a leverage ratio. Isolated and cross margin determine how margin is allocated and how much of your account funds may be affected when a position incurs losses. Understanding the difference between the two can help traders develop a more effective risk management plan.

First, what is isolated margin?

Isolated margin allocates a specified amount of margin to a particular position. If that po

Gate Introduces Proof of Security to Strengthen Transparency and User Asset Protection

Gate has introduced Proof of Security, known as PoSEC, marking an important development in how cryptocurrency exchanges demonstrate their commitment to protecting customer assets. The new framework focuses not only on whether an exchange holds sufficient reserves but also on how those assets are stored and protected against extreme security incidents. This initiative addresses one of the most important concerns in the digital asset industry: whether customer funds can rem

The 7-day KOL leaderboard is out. Looking first at the data under the 100x simulation methodology: 283 signals, 271 settled, 131 hits and 140 stop-losses—nearly an even split. Don’t just charge in after the big names.
Leading the board is San Ma Ge Futures, with 12 wins out of 15 settled trades, an 80% win rate, and simulated returns of +7031%—a real payday this time 🚀 Two Degrees Below Zero is close behind.
Note: simulated returns ≠ live trading. Be extra cautious with high win rates based on few trades 👀 See the image for the full leaderboard.

Why do some people make money while others lose with the same trading signal?

In the cryptocurrency market, a common phenomenon occurs:

Two people see the same market conditions, use similar indicators, and even correctly predict the market’s direction at the same time.

In the end, one makes money, while the other exits at a loss.

Where does the problem lie?

Many people’s first thought is that their entry timing wasn’t good enough, or that their market judgment wasn’t accurate enough.

But if you’ve observed enough trades, you’ll discover a more thought-provoking question:

After a Loss, Why Does It Become Increasingly Difficult to Break Even?

There is a mathematical fact in trading that is easy to overlook:

Losses and breaking even are not symmetrical.

Many people think that as long as the market rises again, they have a chance to earn back the money they previously lost. But the problem is that once your account balance has shrunk, the return you need is no longer the same as it was at the outset.

Suppose you initially have $10,000.

If you lose 10%, your account is left with $9,000. At this point, you need a gain of about 11.1% to get back to $10,000.

The broader market has yet to stop bleeding; tonight remains a key battleground

Risk appetite in overseas markets has cooled sharply. U.S. tech stocks tumbled, and the Nasdaq plunged 5.52%, dragging the crypto market lower. The market as a whole has yet to stabilize, making tonight another critical window for market action.

BTC is fluctuating around 76k, down 5.5% over 24 hours after dipping to an intraday low of 75.2k. ETH is weaker, retreating to around 2,230 and falling more than 7% on the day. This downturn is not driven by crypto-specific negative news; the main factor is the spillover

Last night, the Nasdaq 100 plunged 6.36%, and $BTC was not spared...

It tumbled from above $80,000 to around $75,000, falling more than 6% in 24 hours, while the crypto market saw over $1 billion in liquidations.

I've been watching the correlation between BTC and U.S. stocks, and this once again confirmed a pattern:

When global capital starts collectively reducing risk exposure, BTC still finds it hard to decouple; especially when market volatility surges, leveraged liquidations further amplify short-term declines.

BTC has now returned to the vicinity of its previous key low, and the $75,

Yesterday, I said $AKE looked good around $0.0026 and pointed to targets at $0.0035 → $0.0042 → $0.0050. Today, it surged straight to $0.005 and rose more than 100% from its low. 👀 is currently seeing new sell orders around $0.0052–$0.0064, but I don’t think this will suddenly turn the entire trend bearish. Some resistance is normal after a rally like this. As long as buyers continue to absorb these sell walls, I still think this $AKE rally has room to run.

The Silk Road call from this morning paid off. This rebound reached the entry range we publicly shared and hit the first target, delivering 1,000 points of profit. Our assessment of the broader trend was right; by trading with the trend, we steadily locked in profits.

In trading, you need to distinguish priorities: direction is strategy, while price levels are tactics. Get the strategic big picture right, and entry details can be adjusted flexibly to follow the market. Many people get it exactly backward, stubbornly clinging to a fixed price and letting a clear trend opportunity slip away🤩#E

# Why Might a Once-Effective Strategy Gradually Stop Working?

If a trading strategy has consistently delivered profits in the past, why might it start losing frequently months later, or even after a longer period?

Has the market changed, or is there a problem with the strategy itself?

In the digital asset market, this question is especially worth considering. Market participants, liquidity, volatility structure, and trading behavior can all change. Opportunities that could be captured in the past may not remain available forever.

**The fact that a strategy once worked only shows that it pe
