Nvidia falls 9%, AMD plunges 17%! Is the golden age of chip stocks over? It may be too early to buy the dip!

Once-star AI stocks have now turned investors’ portfolios into a sea of green. Nvidia tumbled, AMD fared even worse, and the semiconductor index dropped about 12% in a single day—a spectacle more intense than a Singles’ Day clearance sale. But I believe long-term demand for the chip industry has not suddenly disappeared; what has really changed is how the market prices future growth. AI chips still matter, but the problem is that investors had set expectations too high. Any slowdown in

What is leveraged trading? Why can leverage improve capital efficiency while also amplifying losses and liquidation risk?
In the cryptocurrency market, leveraged trading allows traders to use a relatively small amount of margin to open larger positions. But leverage is not a free multiplier for capital; it also amplifies the impact of price movements on account equity. Without risk management, even a modest adverse market move can cause serious losses.
First, what is leverage?
Leverage uses margin to establish trading exposure greater than the amount of margin contributed. For example, using 1

U.S. stocks plunged in panic last night. All I want to say is that the big players in crypto did their best: they only gave back the gains from the previous day. In the past, a single 30-centimeter bearish candle would have sent prices crashing down. The difference in strength is clear at a glance.

Today intraday: focus on shorting rallies, with buying dips as a secondary strategy.

#Gate股票畅聊季 #美股史诗级抛售 #每周来晒 Apple “Doesn’t Need the Money” Yet Borrows $7 Billion: A Game of Using Your Savings to Buy Its Stock

Apple has issued bonds. For the first time in over a year: $7 billion, in seven tranches, with maturities from 2 to 10 years.
When the news broke, many people’s first reaction was: It has $137 billion in cash on its books, $145 billion in annual operating cash flow, and only $80 billion in debt. Why borrow?
That question gets to the heart of the matter. But it points in the wrong direction. The real question isn’t “Why is Apple borrowing?” It’s this: Why would a compa

After the Crash: This Isn’t Deleveraging—It’s AI Trading Changing Its Anchor
Many people called Thursday’s massive selloff (Nasdaq -5.52%, SOX -12%) “short-term deleveraging.” I see it differently: this is the starting point of the AI trade shifting from “telling stories” to “calculating returns,” and the divergence ahead will be more brutal than the decline itself.
Three reasons:
1️⃣ The trigger was policy, not liquidity. After a blue wave in the midterm elections, several states explicitly said they would slow or even pause data center construction. UBS estimates that about 30% of new U.S. d

$BTC at $76.2K.
Wicked up to $87K, then got slapped hard. Now just chopping around $76K with volume drying up.
Macro dump hit everything.
Crypto included.
Is this the local bottom or are we going lower? 👀

Why can prices still fall when large buy orders are sitting on the order book?

In cryptocurrency trading, many people watch the order book and try to judge market direction based on buy and sell orders. When a large number of buy orders appear on the screen, some traders believe support below is strong and that prices should not fall easily.

But reality is often not that simple. A large number of buy orders does not mean prices will definitely rise; a large number of sell orders does not mean prices will inevitably fall.

First, orders are not the same as actual trades.

$ENA One of the coins that is very sensitive to momentum. In an uptrend, it tends to outperform the broader market. In a downtrend, it underperforms. A very momentum-dependent coin. That said, I initially caught a nice bottom-bag move on this coin. I bought in the summer at around ~$0.085 and sold a little earlier in the area around $0.22. Even so, it was a good trade. Since then, I’ve been patiently waiting for a sizable pullback to re-enter. I think we’re now at a level where I’m interested again. Below $0.14 (the previous range high), I’m no longer interested in it. But between $0.14 and $0

I have an idea

From now on, the levels I give for strategies will be conservative. When the price reaches them, take the trade; if the stop is hit, accept the loss. And don’t hold out for a bigger move: when the price reaches the target, reduce the position once and move the stop to breakeven, or close everything. That’s how you make money with futures. If you keep trying to ride a trend, you’ll either keep giving back profits and get stopped out, falling just before dawn, or get wiped out by a sudden reversal. Only spot positions are really suitable for holding long term. Treat futures trade

If you're buying the dip in batches, now might be worth considering.
USDT's OTC price has reached a high of 6.68, while the USDCNY exchange rate hasn't risen, so there may be a bit more downside today.
Both USDT and USDC saw inflows today, and the combined market cap of USDT and USDC also edged up.
Bee-bro picked up some ETH, SUI, and DBR.

U.S. stocks suffered a sharp selloff on Thursday, with the Nasdaq closing down more than 5% and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index falling over 12%. AI and chip stocks including $NVDA and $AMD were hit especially hard. Markets are reassessing AI valuations, data-center spending and future returns. Is this just short-term deleveraging, or the start of a deeper correction in the AI trade? Which sectors are you watching next?
