We’ve seen a strong reaction from the range lows, with price now trading just above the EMA bands across the major timeframes. However, the 81.2K range highs are proving to be a key area of resistance, with price currently struggling to reclaim them.
For bulls to maintain control and prevent a rotation back towards the range lows, we need to see the EMA bands hold on any retest, followed by a successful reclaim of the range highs.
Personally, I’m not interested in looking for shorts whilst price continues to trade above the key EMA levels. Despite the rejection at range highs

Friends, the main peak of the 4-year cycle for Bitcoin $BTC falls in 2029 according to the calendar. But in every cycle, a strong interim rally occurred before that peak and even before the halving. The next halving is expected in spring 2028.
These interim rallies reached 67% of the previous peak (778) in 2016, 71% (13,970) in 2019, and 107% (73,777) in 2024. In this cycle, after the July 1, 2026 low of 57,800, 87,396 was reached on September 21. That's 69% of the 126,199 peak, the same ratio as the interim tops in 2016 and 2019.

Yesterday, the crypto market staged a textbook bear trap and reversal. In the morning, BTC and ETH both plunged on heavy volume, with the Bollinger Bands widening and diverging downward. Bearish indicators aligned across the board, panic gripped the market, and retail traders piled into shorts. Predictions that prices would break below previous lows were everywhere.

Against the trend, we anchored our decisions to key support levels: BTC held the previous-low support at 76270, while ETH held the 2245 support confluence zone. We refused to let panic dictate our moves.
