A lot of people think every rally means confidence is back.
But the current on-chain data tells a more interesting story.
Long-term holders are realizing losses, with the 30-day LTH-SOPR sitting around 0.88, while short-term traders who bought recent dips are already taking profits. That means both patient investors and fast traders are selling into the same bounce.
This doesn't automatically signal a bearish market. It often reflects a transition phase where old conviction is fading before new conviction is built.

BTC on 7/20 rose during the day to above the 65,000 level, but after that momentum was seriously insufficient—immediately turned around and probed downward to 63,722. This perfectly matched what was given in the morning: 65,000 and 1,890, leading to a direct capture of about 1,300+ and around 50 points.

I’m looking for continuation after the impulsive breakout back above 1.00 and the reclaim of short-term structure. A clean retest of the breakout zone around 1.00 to 1.02 keeps the long idea intact with room for a push into prior highs and liquidity above 1.06 and 1.10.

Don’t be too quick to short $ETH
After a strong correction, Ethereum is sitting in a key long-term support zone. We might still see a small shakeout, but this area looks like it could become the foundation for the next major move higher.
I’m keeping an eye on the $2,800–$3,200 range as the first recovery target. If buying momentum keeps building, the upside could extend well beyond that.
