The pullback-and-consolidation thesis from the midday review played out perfectly. Gold prices have continued to fluctuate lower, with the anticipated recovery pace and key support and resistance levels aligning closely with the market.
Technical analysis: The Bollinger Bands on the 30-minute and 1-hour charts continue to narrow and flatten. Gold is trading below the middle Bollinger Band, short-term bullish momentum has weakened, and the market has entered a high-level pullback and correction. The bullish trend on higher timeframes has not yet been completely broken.
