US midterm night gave crypto a proper scare and then just walked it back.
CoinDesk says $BTC dropped to about 75.7k early Wednesday when the first results pointed to Democrats taking both chambers of Congress. Bloomberg called it a seven week low. Stock futures and the dollar slid with it.
Then buyers showed up fast. Price went V shape and is back around 78.3k now, green on the day.
Why it matters for us is the CLARITY Act, the bill meant to set rules for US crypto markets. A split Washington could slow it down, so headlines on that will move things.

Why Doesn't Trading Volume Hit a New High When Prices Do?
In the crypto market, prices keep reaching new highs, making the trend look strong, while trading volume gradually declines. This is worth watching because it may reflect a change in market participation. However, falling volume does not necessarily mean a reversal is imminent.
First, upward momentum may be weakening.
A new price high means buyers and sellers are trading at higher prices under current conditions, but if volume does not rise alongside it, there may not be enough new participants entering the market. If buying pressure fa

Liquid Network says its Bitcoin reserves are fully restored, nearly two months after an exploit resulted in approximately $320 million worth of BTC being withdrawn from the network.

Each LBTC is supposed to be backed by one real BTC held in the network's reserves.
