BREAKING: $62.6 trillion BNY completes a tokenized U.S. Treasury triparty repo workflow with Citadel Securities. A 2-year Treasury note settled within minutes on BNY's private digital ledger, then served as collateral in an overnight repo funded by BNY.
October 14: The Calm Before CPI — My Read on Today's Market
The market is doing something interesting today: it’s not panicking, but it’s not celebrating either. It’s waiting. And that waiting tells us more than the price moves themselves.
US equities closed nearly flat. Nasdaq slipped 0.15% to 27,204, S&P was basically unchanged, Dow down 0.35%. But under the hood, the story is split. Semiconductors fell for a fifth straight session, with memory names like SK Hynix and Micron down over 3%. Yet Apple and Microsoft hit record highs, Microsoft’s market cap topped $4.03T, Oracle jumped 4%, and Me
After the bearish CPI data was released in the evening, Bitcoin began a one-way decline from around 83,900, steadily breaking below the 83,000 mark and reaching a low near 82,500, for a total drop of nearly 1,400 points. The short position we opened around 83,500 in the evening accurately captured this decline, successfully taking profit on nearly 800 points of movement. The price has now made a slight rebound to around 82,700 for consolidation.
On the 4-hour chart, the price has broken below the recent uptrend line and lost support from the MA7 and MA30 moving averages, indicating that the sh

$TAO is fighting for $278 while Bittensor is fighting to become a much bigger network. 👀
Most traders are watching the price.
I’m watching the changes happening underneath it.
Here’s why $TAO deserves attention right now:
📊 The chart:
TAO is hovering around $278, a key support zone after pulling back from its September highs near $340.
• Hold $275–280 → potential rebound toward $290–300
• Reclaim $300 → $310–320 comes back into focus
• Lose $275 decisively → $260 and $250 become downside levels to watch

This latest CPI data is bearish for gold and silver.
I think the obvious negative is actually a positive. It’s only a short-term drop of 50 points, and it can recover tomorrow.
If it continues falling and breaks below the previous low, I’ll add to my position, so I’m not worried at all. I’ll talk about opportunities during tonight’s Bitcoin livestream.

A green futures candle is not the same as real demand.
Futures can climb because traders add leverage. Spot climbs when people actually buy the coin. On a chart they look alike. Under stress, they behave very differently.
That is why I separate two questions:
Who is pushing the price: spot buyers or leveraged traders?
How crowded is the trade? Extreme funding is a warning sign, not a signal.
What would change my view? Spot volume rising on a pullback would make me more comfortable. A rally with falling spot volume would make me more cautious.
Which do you trust more when they disagree, spot or

Hearing that the CPI numbers have come in unfavourably. It is what it is. For me, the key focus remains $BTC holding 81.2K.
The H4 200 MA is now aligning with the VAL, making 82.3K an increasingly important level. However, the range lows remain the key level from a broader structural perspective. Losing the H4 200 MA would weaken the case for those range lows holding as support.
From a higher-timeframe perspective, nothing has changed. Market structure continues to support the spot and chill approach, and I’ll be sure to alert everyone if that outlook changes.
What I particularly like about th

$PONS Up 19 points in a day, while BTC is still grinding around—the capital is clearly looking for a new narrative.
First, look at the broader market backdrop. BTC is stuck at a key level and repeatedly testing it, while the Fed’s rate-cut expectations keep swinging hot and cold. Market participants don’t dare go aggressively into major coins, but they haven’t been idle either—where are they going? They’re moving into small caps with more upside potential. Today, $PONS is the most typical beneficiary.
Here are the live figures: $PONS is currently at 0.3343, up 18.97% over 24 hours, with a high

The Fed is highly likely to hold steady in October, but CPI will determine whether it acts in December

The question the market is most concerned about now is not really “Will the Fed hike rates in October?” but rather “Will the CPI data change the Fed’s path for the rest of the year?”

The current situation is that September nonfarm payrolls increased by just 29,000, well below market expectations of more than 50,000, while the unemployment rate edged up to 4.2%. The labor market is clearly cooling. The Fed faces a dilemma— inflation is still above 3%, but employment has already begun to we
