On the surface: SOL is back above $104, and everything looks peaceful.
In reality: Just yesterday, it broke below $100 and crashed to a low of $99.1—going from “breakdown panic” to “reclaiming lost ground” within a day, with a swing of 5%+.
That round trip washed out how many people’s positions completely.
Price action (Gate data)

NFP day today, results most of the time mixed
GM,
In less than an hour we get the NFP report from US, but if I would guess, the results will be mixed, meaning if the NFP misses a lot then the Unemp Rate is stable or green and viceversa, so everyone gets what they want including volatility.
Let the dust settle, we will have a cleaner direction after the weekly close.
P.S: Bitcoin looks strong still, but full thesis about short to medium term moves was laid out last night during the AMA, check the video. 🫡

Will the Fed actually dare to hike rates next?
The just-released U.S. August nonfarm payrolls surged by 162,000, completely crushing the market’s original expectation of around 50,000, while the unemployment rate held steady at 4.1%. Against the backdrop of heightened tensions in Iran and sky-high geopolitical uncertainty, the labor market still managed to deliver such a rebound—truly impressive
There are two details worth considering
First, structural divergence

How are the guys who chased the price up at 0.0957 doing now? $VELVET plunged straight through 0.073 intraday, with $22 million in 24-hour trading volume and a terrifyingly high turnover rate. This isn’t a pullback; it’s a meat grinder where bulls and bears are emptying each other’s pockets. I watched it all day—the order book was as thin as paper, and a single 8,000U sell order could create a 0.003 crater. With liquidity this poor, whether the market maker pumps or dumps is entirely a matter of mood.
Don’t touch it. I’m not kidding. Here are some hard numbers for you to judge: the price slid

The US is dumping the crypto market
Unemployment data was released — everything seems to be within expectations, but there’s a catch:
The number of employed people increased by several times more than expected, which could negatively affect the Fed’s actions in the near term

Your salary pays your bills.
But your salary should also pay you.
Every month, take a portion of your income and pay yourself first.
For example:
You earn ₦500,000.
You save 10% = ₦50,000.
Do this consistently.
Then use your savings to buy an asset.
Maybe you bought land for ₦100,000.
Two years later, it’s worth ₦250,000.
Or you bought chairs, a canopy, or a wheelbarrow and people pay you to rent them.
Now something has changed.
Your income is no longer only paying bills.
Your income is buying things that can pay you back.
That is how ownership creates freedom.
Bills consume your money.
