The intraday bearish outlook at high levels continues to play out! Gold surged to a high of 4436 before coming under pressure and retreating. After breaking below the middle Bollinger Band on the hourly chart, it maintained weak consolidation. Upward momentum has clearly weakened, and resistance at the highs has been validated. The short-term market has entered a high-level correction and consolidation phase.

Resistance: 4405, 4430
Support: 4380, 4355

Short on a rebound into the 4398-4410 range, targeting 4380 and 4360.

Starting August 13, 2026, Gate introduced nine new USD1-margined perpetual futures markets, alongside a promotional fee structure for eligible VIP 0–VIP 16 users. During the promotion, qualifying maker orders receive a 0% maker fee, while taker fees are reduced to 25% of their original rates.
