July CPI In Line as Inflation Cools 📉
US Consumer Price Index for July came in as expected:
• Headline CPI: +0.1% m/m → 3.4% y/y (down from 3.5%)
• Core CPI: +0.2% m/m → 2.5% y/y
Energy prices fell 1.5% on the month, helping cool the overall reading. Shelter remained the main driver of the monthly increase.
The data confirms a continued moderation in inflation pressure after the June drop, giving markets a cleaner read ahead of the next Fed decision.
Risk assets may find some relief as the cooler print reduces near-term rate-hike urgency — though inflation is still running above the 2% target

$BEAT is holding near $0.97 after a heavy selloff, and this area is worth watching.
Price dropped from $3.694 and eventually found buyers around $0.723. Since then, it has been moving in a tight range, with sellers struggling to push it back toward the recent low.
