running an agency in 2026 looks nothing like it did 3 years ago (if you're an agency owner, you'll agree with this)
the old model was hire a team, charge retainers, and deliver a service
the margin came from arbitrage between what you billed and what you paid your team
now with AI, nobody wants to pay agency rates for work they can vibe-code themselves
the agencies that still do well are the top 1% and those that stopped selling hours and started selling outcomes, IP, distribution, or proprietary systems.
(anything where the value is not just labor or generic services)
if you're running a pure

Imagine maxing out Claude Code usage limits with 6 terminals open while shipping 4 projects but you have 0 clients
Don't be that guy

Theres a kid on X who started building tools with AI and posts random clips everyday to go viral
Hes had multiple viral posts so far and seems to have cracked the algorithm
He's now built a personal brand and have an audience looking forward to what he posts
When he launches his next thing I bet he'll easily get paying users on day 1
And its all because he started posting on this app
What a timeline we live in

Im surprised there are still CS graduates & experienced devs not addicted to using Claude Code & Codex to vibecode & ship projects
Its like you're already tony stark but refuse to use your suit & armor
I dont understand why most devs are afraid of losing their jobs to 19 year old vibe coders on tiktok when you are literally light years ahead

looking for a cracked intern who can make viral content across AI, crypto & tech
- young, hungry and wants to learn
- addicted to claude, codex and the newest AI tools
- knows the viral memes & topics of the day
- chronically online
if this sounds like you and you want to work in a fast paced environment with big AI & crypto brands and founders, send proof in the comments

your sh*tty vibe-coded app probably won't make you money
we used to say software eats the world, now distribution eats software
I run agencies, they don't scale like products do, and I've been thinking about it for the last 6 months
if you don't already have the audience, you're competing with 50 other vibe-coded SaaS clones and hoping you go viral
the people who own their distribution have never had this problem.
naval launches a project and gets users on day 1 because people already trust him. hormozi sells millions of books because he spent years giving away the ideas for free. the product

theres a business model right now thats printing money and almost nobody is talking about it
you build a multi-agent workflow for a client: research, outreach, content, whatever they need automated
you charge a setup fee and then monthly recurring to maintain it
the client doesnt know how to build it themselves, they just know they need it and theyre willing to pay 5-10k for someone to come in and set it up
its not SaaS and you dont need to raise money or build a product
you just need to understand how agents work and be able to configure them for specific use cases
ive been saying this for mo

If you're building a project in 2026:
- fire your marketing team
- hire a content team obsessed with AI
- create as much content as possible
- focus on distribution and get creative
- be chronically online
- have your founders post daily
- leverage communities as a growth strategy
- experiment with multiple platforms
most projects will make the mistake of thinking you still only need to pay KOLs to win distribution
this is why most marketing feels old and useless

the market feels dead and most people already left and I think about that a lot
I scroll through old group chats sometimes and half the names havent posted in over a year despite having good talent, skills & connections
I feel grateful im still here & enjoying what I do with people I love doing cool stuff with
I think I just got obsessed with learning how to actually run a business when everyone else was focused on making quick money during the 2021 & 2024 cycle. I also made every mistake in the book, I lost money & made more money than I could at my age
- overtrading during memecoin szn

elon saying you'll need the james webb telescope to see second place is peak elon
but honestly the AI race is getting to a point where stuff like this doesnt even sound that crazy anymore
a year ago there were maybe 2-3 serious models. now you have Anthropic, Google, OpenAI all basically tied, xAI and Meta closing in fast, and Chinese labs right behind them
every single one of these companies is shipping major updates every few weeks and its only accelerating. i try to use new tools every day and even I have trouble keeping up
say what you want about elon but when he starts publicly teasing l

coding is basically solved now and most people still havent realized what that means
the friction that used to exist is gone. you dont need to hire a dev, write a spec, wait 3 weeks, go back and forth on revisions. you just need to know what you want and be patient enough to build it with AI
but heres whats going to get interesting
when everyone can build, coding isnt the edge anymore. the edge is knowing what problem is actually worth solving and having the taste to build it in a way that doesnt feel like everything else out there
most people are going to use these tools to rebuild stuff that

perplexity just shipped a 24/7 AI agent that runs on a mac mini and watches everything you do
it's a direct openclaw competitor: cleaner UI, built for people who don't want to set anything up
openclaw is open source and more powerful. perplexity is closed and more polished
not sure which one captures the market long term but it's going to be interesting to watch

So tired of seeing AI patterns in everyone's content
I fully support using AI to speed up your content workflows but please make an effort to remove the chatgpt patterns from your post
Its not that hard

So many people are posting their complex AI setups and most of them are gonna have to redo everything in like 2 months
ive been using Claude Code and OpenClaw pretty heavily since they dropped and I cant even count how many workflows I had to throw away because the next update made them pointless
the thing nobody realizes is that the companies building these tools are actively trying to make your complex setup unnecessary. thats literally their job. the 14 step workflow you spent all weekend on is gonna be a single button eventually
one of the smartest guys I know just does landing pages for s
