i've never gotten a job by submitting a CV, neither has anyone i know who's actually doing well

something like 30% of jobs posted online are even real and a lot get filled internally before they ever hit LinkedIn/ job sites and the listing just exists to collect resumes
i never relied on these; most of my opportunities came from connecting with people irl or by doing a good job showing what im good at online
if you're totally new, find the thing you're already better at than most people, find a real pain point you can solve with it, then go find the people who feel that pain badly enough to pay you to make it go away
then just do a shit ton of volume, make content, do 50 dms/ day and make as many friends as you can
take the work even when its underpriced early on (or do it for free), you learn way more from the actual reps than anything anyways
that ends up being what gets you the next thing, someone sees the work or someone you did a good job for puts your name in a room
once you've proven yourself then you can charge a premium for your services, upskill hard and get into the best teams you can, being around people better than you pulls your level up faster than anything else
