Recently, I’ve been following Solana’s moves in China and noticed something quite interesting.
Even CZ came out to comment on it: Solana can advertise in Shanghai and open an office there, something even BNB Chain has yet to accomplish.
But compared with putting its logo on the Bund, what I’m more curious about is: What does Solana actually want from coming to China this time?
In March this year, its event in Shanghai was temporarily canceled. Seven months later, its focus appears to have shifted toward AI, robotics, and the developer ecosystem.
My understanding is that it may be trying a new

The project stops receiving updates:

What truly deserves attention about Papertrade’s first day is not that someone made $1.28 million.
It’s that it exposed a type of DeFi risk:
When a protocol uses external market prices while allowing its own liquidity pool to passively bear counterparty risk, those who understand the differences between the mechanisms of the two markets may have a greater advantage than ordinary traders.
This serves as a reminder to all DeFi users:
Don’t just look at APY, TVL, and leverage multiples.
You should also ask three questions:
Where exactly does the yield come from?
Who ultimately bears the risk?
If
I saw something about Agents today that was genuinely unsettling.
Stop thinking of an Agent as just a chatbot: it doesn’t answer you—it acts on your behalf.
A chatbot can only give you advice.
An Agent, however, can take action directly:
• Read emails
• Call APIs
• Execute code
• Operate wallets
• Trade automatically
The difference isn’t whether it can answer questions, but whether it has the authority to make decisions on your behalf.
Once AI shifts from “providing information” to “executing actions,” a mistake is no longer just getting an answer wrong.
It could directly cause financial los

This bull market, don’t rush to hunt for hidden Alpha.
• BTC is moving toward becoming Digital Gold, with an ideal target of $150K–$250K
• Net ETF inflows exceeding 60,000 BTC over 30 days would be an important signal that the main upward phase has begun
• For altcoins, only trade narratives that have already been validated by price: $ZEC , $HYPE , $UNI , $NEAR
• Don’t switch positions frequently within the main narrative; have the conviction to hold during the main upward phase and the discipline to exit during the frenzy
The best Alpha may not be about being smarter than the market, but a

I came across a pretty wild setup: if you want to buy a dog coin called Artificial Inu, you first have to buy tokenized Nvidia stock, because NVDA is on the other side of the liquidity pool.
This memecoin had a market cap of $1.5 million on August 1, hit $135 million on August 30, and briefly topped $320 million in early September. It nearly went up 90x in less than a month.
After digging into it, I found that this wasn’t an isolated case. It’s part of the hottest playbook on Robinhood’s blockchain right now.
The chain only launched its mainnet on July 1. The official vision was fairly straigh

Bitcoin rose 25% in August, its strongest August since 2017 🔥
But guys, don’t get carried away just yet—the real battle is only beginning. If Bitcoin can’t break through $81,000, everything else is just talk.
First, there are only three reasons for the rise:
💰 The U.S. Treasury quietly injected liquidity, doubling the scale of long-term bond buybacks. The market immediately recognized it as a backdoor money-printing signal, and the debasement trade is back on
📜 Washington is really picking up the pace this time: the SEC released new rules, Trump personally met with crypto industry leaders,

Last month, a buddy of mine bragged that he had just ordered a carry-on suitcase from RIMOWA’s official website. Wow, I decided to get one too.
Then I discovered that the platform’s 17th VIP Airdrop Carnival had brought RIMOWA into the mix. I really couldn’t resist.
Simply put: VIP8 and above can qualify for a gift box by hitting the required trading volume this month (50M U in futures / 20M U in spot / 400M U in CFDs; meeting any one requirement is enough). The higher the VIP level, the better the rewards:

VIP9: Bucket hat

The recent plunge in tech stocks is essentially a “highly leveraged stampede” involving Asian retail investors and AI momentum funds.
Goldman Sachs’ latest report dated 8/3 contains several extremely critical data points that all traders should study carefully:
📌 Long-side selling over two consecutive days reached its second-highest level in nearly a decade;
📌 Japanese retail leverage reached its highest level since the Japanese bubble burst in 1990, while Korean retail margin financing surged to a record high before reversing outright;
📌 Hedge fund net leverage has already turned negative
Prediction markets no longer have a retail “breeding ground”—the AI arms race is already underway 🤖📈
Do you think you’re just betting against regular guys on Polymarket and Kalshi? Actually, your opponents are Jump Trading, AQR, and AI Agents that watch the market 7×24 hours and reprice it.
In July, trading volume broke past $11 billion, and institutional trading volume surged 800%!On major events like the Fed’s rate decision night, a 87% probability has already been firmly anchored by institutional algorithms—an era when retail could profit from price gaps just by “seeing the news first” is

A couple of days ago, I closed my contract position and extracted a bit of U to convert to spot. I originally planned to keep it and wait for a dip, but after chatting with a buddy yesterday, I found out that in Gate’s spot USD1, it offers 8% annualized yield.
I thought I would need to lock it up, but when I checked I found that you don’t. Both the spot and contract accounts count snapshots: if your position is > 1, you get the yield, and it lands in your account directly the next day. Looking into the background, it’s issued by WLFI, with the underlying using U.S. Treasury cash as collateral.

Earnings exploded but the stock immediately crashed! This nightmare for storage-chip companies turned “good news is all bad news left” into a masterclass.
Brothers, last night U.S. stocks and Korean stocks for storage chips just dropped hard.
Samsung’s quarterly profit surged 18 times, SK hynix’s profit jumped 5.5 times, and Micron’s gross margin skyrocketed to 84%... With a report like that, whoever looks at it would say it’s a heavenly scorecard, right? But turn around—shares staged a “waterfall” drop. Korea’s two biggest giants plunged more than 13% in a single day; in one night, Micron and

In the past, the prediction market was about who got the information faster.
Now it’s about whose AI is faster.
Kalshi and Polymarket are already starting to look more and more like an institutional game.
Market makers, quant teams, and AI agents are all fighting for the same slice of cake—keeping an eye on the market 24/7, and placing orders immediately when they spot pricing discrepancies.
In the future, prediction markets won’t be a competition over forecasting itself, but over:
Data + algorithms + execution speed.
Can retail investors still play?
Yes, but the opportunities (t

Yesterday I had coffee with a few old friends who do VC. Everyone was sighing, saying that now all the hot money online and programmers are pouring into the AI space, and the crypto space is cold like an ice cave.
But Pantera’s partner recently posted an article, and the take is pretty interesting. He said: “A bear market isn’t a dead time—it’s the touchstone for shedding tourists and filtering out the ruthless.”
If you think the blockchain is about to be over, take a look at these data points and stories:

Saturday Spurs vs Knicks Finals G2—brothers, what do you think?
I was stunned by the Tottenham game a couple of days ago. Just talking tough in the group isn’t satisfying enough—I need some real skin in the game.
This heavenly battle on Saturday, I’m planning to try it out in Gate’s prediction market.
I just placed a small bet of 27u to wager on the Spurs to win. Waiting to win, then cashing out at 42u.
Just based on Wembanyama’s absolute dominance in the paint, G2 has to bring the Spurs to a bottoming out and bouncing back.
You can place bets on this NBA game. Veteran fans can direc

Grayscale released a research report: Is HYPE valued at only 14 times? Compared with US stock brokerages, there’s still 3 times upside!
Grayscale just sent Hyperliquid (HYPE) a research report. Using traditional finance formulas, Wall Street finds that HYPE’s current P/E ratio is only 14, while high-growth brokerages in the US like Robinhood are trading at 35–50 times. In other words, it’s basically saying HYPE is absurdly cheap.

Belief collapses, myths are shattered. The most hardcore Ethereum fans have sold all their ETH. These idealists have finally been jolted awake by reality.
Just after writing the “Moutai Moment,” the guy next door, Deep Tide, posted an even more explosive exposé: Bankless founder David Hoffman—the leading “big leader” who, for the past 6 years, has been putting “ETH is a super-sonic currency” on everyone’s lips—has already fully liquidated all the ETH he held.
The crypto world immediately blew up. But in a long post he explained it himself; the logic is extremely clear, extremely painful: h

With this kind of market recently, it's really a bit exhausting.
Gains are not satisfying, and drops are unpredictable, shaking twice a day, easily wearing down people's mentality.
Honestly, during times like this, I find myself less and less inclined to mess around.
For BTC that I hold short-term without moving, rather than obsessively watching the market and feeling anxious, it's better to just leave it and earn some interest.
Gate recently has that Yubi Bao 7-day fixed deposit, I checked it out, and after adding $ZEST rewards, the annualized return for BTC can reach 10.1%.
