October 19 Gold Morning Brief
Last Monday, gold consolidated on lower volume around 4170 while awaiting CPI; after U.S. September CPI came in at +3.7% year over year on Wednesday, prices plunged, touching a low of 4073; on Thursday, bulls staged a comeback, with gold rising 1.61% for the day to close at 4171; on Friday, after Fed Chair Warsh’s speech in Bangkok, gold surged to 4198 but failed to hold, then turned lower and closed around 4165. Gold fell 0.14% that day and 0.68% for the week, tracing a roller-coaster path of “falling first, then rising, then pulling back.”

🚨📉 US MEMORY STOCKS EXTEND LOSSES — IS THE MEMORY CHIP SECTOR FACING A NEW MARKET CHALLENGE?
#USMemoryStocksExtendLosses
The US stock market is drawing attention as memory stocks extend their losses, putting the semiconductor industry and the broader technology sector under the spotlight. Memory chips are essential components in everything from smartphones and personal computers to cloud infrastructure, data centers, and artificial intelligence systems. When shares of memory-related companies decline for an extended period, investors naturally begin asking important questions about valuation

I've been buying Bitcoin long enough to witness 3 occasions where EVERYONE was convinced it was a "bear market forever."
All 3 turned out to be incredible opportunities to build wealth.
This time won't be any different.
If you're still here, you've already done the hard part.
Don't get shaken out by a pullback on the 1D that you won't even be able to see next year.

I just finished looking at the candlestick chart, and my view hasn’t changed: When it comes to the U.S. election, which party wins is the real variable driving macro spillovers to our side. The original claim that “the whole world is hoping the Democrats win” is, frankly, just a complex geopolitical contest reduced to a slogan. It may feel good to believe, but traders need to break it down. The Republicans are talking tough on tariffs and reshoring. The volatility in export-linked and semiconductor stocks clearly picked up during the 2018–2019 tariff hikes—that’s a case in point. The Democrats

If you don't have any money, just slowly save up your red envelopes. By year-end, saving up 1 ETH is enough to buy a Ninebot electric scooter🛵, and if you keep up with the boss, we’ll drive a Xiaomi SU7 together

This Seoul-based company’s robots have been trained on 150,000 hours of human actions, with the data coming from Hanoi, where a 500-person production line generates 20,000 hours a month. It sounds like outsourcing, but it’s really new infrastructure for the AI era. I’m watching to see whether this model can scale, since not everyone can afford to run a data factory. What have you noticed on your end? I think the real barrier here is management, not technology.

US September PPI came in at 6.3% YoY, well above the 5.3% market expectation, pointing to renewed producer-side inflation pressure. Weekly jobless claims were 199K, broadly in line with forecasts. Could hotter inflation further reduce room for rate cuts, and what does it mean for $BTC, US stocks, and gold?
