This 1550 wall could determine whether ZEC's next candle sees a short squeeze or a dump!
ZEC's major short seller 0x362a has been stopped out 7 times since last night, buying back about 5.196 million U at an average price of 1484.4, and has already lost about 2.161 million U. Before reducing his position, he was short 15,784 coins worth about 23.52 million U; even after cutting 22%, he still has a 4x fully leveraged position at an average price of 866.9.
His remaining position is now worth about 18.24 million U, with an unrealized loss of 7.59 million, down -285%. Including the positions already stopped out, his total loss is nearly 10 million U. His liquidation price has risen from 1509 to 1550.6, just 4.4% from the current price. He has also placed a buy stop-loss at 1550 himself, practically right on the liquidation line!
1550 is the largest ZEC liquidation wall on HL, with about 20.4 million U stacked there; the other nearby walls are all less than one-quarter its size. Over the past 12 hours, total liquidations across the market were about 99.05 million U, including 66.99 million U in shorts. ZEC alone accounted for 23.26 million U in liquidations, ranking first.
The current price is around 1512, with the wall right in front of us. Don't dream about short-term moves; first see whether this wall gets broken through.
In the 1510–1535 range, first watch the 1548–1552 wall; the top is also fuel. Only chase after holding 1560,
Target 1580 and 1620 above. On a drop, first watch 1484, then 1440–1465. If 1430 breaks, don't stubbornly stay long; chasing longs at the current price isn't worthwhile.
Wait for a pullback to 1484–1465 before cautiously entering, with a stop-loss below 1430. If price spikes above 1550 but fails to move higher, you can take a short-term short, targeting 1510 and 1484, with a stop-loss at 1562.
If it fails to hold above 1560, don't fantasize about new highs. Keep leverage low—once this wall is triggered, it can wreck you instantly.
Although the shorts have already been badly battered, they haven't been fully liquidated yet.
The price is being pinned to 1550. If it breaks through, another sharp move upward may follow; if it fails, it could easily spill downward from here. Watch first, then act!
