Gate’s net inflow ranked third over the past month, around $126M. Before the ranking becomes the whole conversation, here’s how I read it, and how I’d use it as a trader.
1. What this metric actually measures
This kind of net inflow figure is built from on-chain tracked reserve wallets. That means it only sees the addresses an exchange has disclosed, and it measures balance changes, not “new buyers.” It also depends heavily on the time window. For context, a 30-day figure last December was over $500M and ranked first. So $126M at third tells me inflow size swings a lot

After a high-volume decline on the daily chart, the rebound has been weak; without an actual positive catalyst, it will be difficult for the uptrend to resume, and the daily timeframe remains in a choppy downward trend
