Glassnode warns Bitcoin stuck in tight range, critical moment ahead
#BTC is trapped between $80K and $87K — and the next move could set the tone for the short term.
On Oct 15, BTC dipped close to $80K, a level that aligns with the cost basis of many spot Bitcoin ETFs and corporate treasury holders. Glassnode data shows the average cost basis for corporate holders sits around $80,200. When combined with ETF investor cost bases, the $80,000–$81,500 range has become one of the most notable support zones right now.

☕️ Friday: $BTC is back in the range, and short sellers are rubbing their hands
On 21.10, BTC reached 84 898, then pulled back to 81 328 on 22.10 — a classic “stop run and reversal.” The week is closing inside the 80.7–84.9K range, and Friday will decide what mood the market heads into the weekend in.
Plan for the day (chart 👆)
🟢 80.7–81.3K — the main support; if it holds, expect a bounce toward the midpoint
🟡 83.1–83.4K — the midpoint of the range, where price action usually stalls
🔴 84.4–84.9K — the ceiling where buyers have already been turned back

Why Can a Backtest Perform Well While Live Trading Continues to Lose Money?
A trading strategy performs excellently on historical data, with a high win rate, a beautiful equity curve, and a very small maximum drawdown.
But once deployed in the real market, the results are completely different: execution prices are unfavorable, trading costs keep rising, returns gradually shrink, and losses may even continue.
Where exactly does the problem lie?
Often, it’s not that backtesting has no value, but that we treat backtest results as a guarantee of live performance.

🚨 Bitcoin Weekly TA ✨️✨️
BTC held the $80K support, closing the week down just 2%, while Nasdaq fell 5% and the semiconductor index dropped over 11%.
BTC has now closed above the 50W MA for 5 consecutive weeks despite the US market correction. As long as it holds the 50W MA near $76.1K, the bull run remains intact.
Key levels:
- Support: $80K and $76K
- Resistance: $84K and $87.5K

Why Aren’t Limit Orders Always Cheaper Than Market Orders?
Many traders believe that limit orders let them control the execution price, while market orders can incur slippage, so limit orders must always be more cost-effective.
But in real trading, there’s an often-overlooked issue:
A better price doesn’t necessarily mean a better overall trading outcome.
To determine whether an order type is appropriate, you can’t look only at the execution price. You also need to consider the probability of execution, the cost of waiting, and the cost of missing a trading opportunity.

Bitcoin Below $81,000: Decoding Market Uncertainty, Investor Psychology, and the Next Potential Turning Point
“In the financial markets, every price movement tells a story, but only disciplined observation can separate a meaningful signal from temporary market noise.”
The cryptocurrency market has once again entered a fascinating phase of uncertainty as Bitcoin falls below the psychologically significant $81,000 threshold. While some market participants may interpret this decline as a warning of intensifying bearish momentum, others may view it as a potential opportunity to

October 23 $ETH Market Update
This market has really been frustrating lately: it can't move higher, and whenever it drops, buyers step in.
Yesterday, ETH retested lower levels, hitting a low of 2359, very close to the 2350 support we had been watching, before rebounding to around 2400.
On the 4-hour chart, there is some support at the lows for now, but the strength of the rebound still needs confirmation.
Support has appeared around 2350 several times, but each retest has only produced a weak rebound. If buying pressure does not continue to strengthen, it may not hold the next time it's teste

It rose 13% in a week, but longs are starting to retreat and shorts have flipped to account for over half 😏. The price is stuck in the middle of the range, while open interest surged 10.5% in four hours, driven entirely by new positions—a hollow rally. The buyers above are all trapped; any spike is just handing profits to shorts. A sell-off is imminent 👀

Gold Falls Below $4,000! Where’s the Promised Safe Haven? This Time, Even Gold Can’t Hold Up
Gold has its “breaking point” too!
On October 23, spot gold fell below $4,000 per ounce intraday, briefly dipping below $3,990. Gold, which once seemed as solid as a rock to investors, is now also staging a “cliff dive.”
Here’s the question: Aren’t we supposed to buy gold in turbulent times? Why, when the market gets nervous, does gold fall first?
The reason is not complicated. Rising oil prices have fueled inflation concerns, and the market is reassessing the Fed’s interest-rate path, weighing on gold

As AI and quantum codebreaking draw near, why are @Starknet's hash-based STARKs the ultimate solution for foundational security?
Imagine if a quantum computer with “lock-picking superpowers” emerged in the future,
the “digital locks” used by most blockchains today to protect assets would be cracked in an instant, like they were made of paper.
Why? Because they rely on a mathematical problem called “elliptic curves.”
It’s like an incredibly complex maze, one that would take an ordinary computer tens of thousands of years to navigate,
but a quantum computer could fly straight over it in seconds,

$SUI Slacking off during the morning meeting, someone in the group dropped a line: Cardano governance representatives are defecting to SUI. I stared at the screen for half a beat. Setting the tech debate aside, today I just want to talk about the market’s abnormal behavior.
On-chain, things are clearly still falling, yet the community is full of praise for SUI. This isn’t bad news being fully priced in; it’s someone afraid it’ll rise, stuffing the megaphone with praise first. $SUI ‌

The “nearly 4%” headline is already stale, and the real story is what happened next. KOSPI fell 3.5% on Thursday, plunged more than 4% intraday on Friday, then closed up 0.3%. My view: the chip rally is cooling in momentum, not breaking on fundamentals, but Friday’s bounce rested on one stock’s news, so I’m not trusting it yet.

There’s no major macro news today: U.S. stock futures are moving in a narrow range, the dollar is unchanged, and BTC is trading sideways. That suggests this move is purely driven by traders looking for a narrative, not by the usual Fed or CPI catalysts. I’ve been watching the 30-day correlation between BTC and Nasdaq futures, which has recently fallen to around 0.3.
