The Fed raised interest rates for the first time in three years, with a unanimous 12-0 vote for a 25-basis-point hike, bringing rates to 3.75%–4.00%. The market moved more or less as I expected: it did not fall much after the hike, but instead rose.
$BTC I’m currently watching the 77,500 resistance level.
But I don’t think this is enough to turn bullish yet. The price has stabilized, but OI is still around 107,900 coins, and Funding is also slightly positive. Long leverage has not been fully flushed out.
In the short term, the 75,000–79,000 range can be traded.

High-Interest-Rate Trading May Have Only Just Been Repriced
The most noteworthy aspect of this Fed rate hike is that it did not signal that “once the hike is done, it’s over” to the market. The September meeting unanimously approved a 25bp rate hike, and the dot plot further showed that most officials expect tightening could continue this year.
This means market trading logic may be changing: in the past, everyone was discussing “when will rates be cut?” Now it has reverted to “when will the next rate hike come?”
In this environment, it is not surprising to see the US dollar and Treasury yield

The odds are now marginally in favour of another rate rise at next month’s Fed meeting.
However, a 50.9% probability reflects uncertainty, not conviction. Much can change between now and then.
If my thesis of a Q4 capitulation low for #BTC proves correct, I suspect the catalyst will be a geopolitical shock rather than monetary policy alone.
