Take stock of potential Non-fungible Token projects worth paying attention to on Bitcoin

In addition to the familiar Bitcoin Non-fungible Token projects such as Bitcoin Frogs, OMB (Ordinal Maxi Biz), Goosinals, OrdiRocks, etc., there are still some projects that have been released that have not received much attention at this stage due to insufficient Market Cap or the difference in attention between China and foreign countries, and there are even some projects that have not yet been released, which are worth following up.

Let’s take a look at the “potential stocks” that deserve our attention in addition to the well-known Bitcoin Non-fungible Token projects.

NodeMonkes

This project is definitely a new and well-known Bitcoin Non-fungible Token project. NokeMonkes is known in Chinese circles as “Node Monkey”, which is a literal translation of its English name. On December 23, 2023, after about 30 hours of Dutch auctions, NodeMonkes finally sold out when the price dropped to 0.04 Bitcoin. As the first native 10K PFP series on Bitcoin, the NokeMonkes team ended up with about 240 Bitcoin sales revenues.

The project’s current Floor Price has already exceeded 0.2 Bitcoin, just one step away from Flipping Bitcoin Frogs. Since its launch, the total trading volume of the project has exceeded 600 Bitcoin, and the trading volume on Magic Eden has reached about 60% of the trading volume of Bitcoin Frogs. This achievement is so amazing that it has been compared to Bitcoin Frogs in the Chinese community, which has sparked widespread discussion.

This project is probably the most watched and sought after Bitcoin PFP Non-fungible Token project I’ve seen from ETH Non-fungible Token players so far, and NodeMonkes is good both in terms of narrative and artistry. Personally, I don’t like this project because the team backtracked many times before the launch, and the first time the project sparked a huge discussion was when it announced that it had rejected a $5 million investment from VC and insisted on a Free Mint project. However, since then, the popularity of the project has continued to increase, and the project team has continuously changed the offering plan and reneged on its previous promises. From the announcement of Free Mint and no Allowlist mechanism, to the announcement of a Allowlist mechanism and fee minting, to all Dutch auctions without Allowlist, its claimed $5 million investment has also been questioned.

Of course, if you can take $10 million from Non-fungible Token players, how many people can resist the temptation…

Putting aside personal preferences and going back to the project itself, its minting income is deposited in a Multi-signature Wallet composed of Bitcoin mining CEO @hash_bender, Taproot Wizards CTO @rot13maxi, Mining Galaxy VP @bitcoinbeezy, and others, and the reliability is guaranteed. In addition, many foreigner Non-fungible Token KOLs are pushing this project, and multiple single Non-fungible Token transactions of about 2 Bitcoin have also appeared. It probably won’t be long before we see NodeMonkes flip out of Bitcoin Frogs.

OnChainMonkey (OCM) Genesis

On September 6, 2023, OCM officially approved a proposal with a budget of up to $1 million to migrate the series to the Bitcoin Ordinals ecosystem. On November 30, 2023, OCM began opening the migration from Ethereum to Bitcoin to holders.

Launched in September 2021, OCM is known for being “the first 10K PFP project to be generated on the full chain”. To put it simply, OCM’s images are rendered through code within the Smart Contract, so they deployed everything on-chain in a single transaction that cost 0.798 ETH.

The migration proposal was made by Metagood, OCM’s parent company. Prior to the migration proposal, Metagood had successfully released the 3D animated Non-fungible Token collection OCM Dimensions on Bitcoin and open source the code used to create the project, as well as partnering with Asprey Studio to launch the Asprey Bugatti Egg project.

On December 15, 2023, OCM announced the closing of a $5 million seed round led by Sora Ventures with participation from CTAI Ventures, Bitcoin Frontier Fund, UTXO Management, London Real Ventures, and Peach XYZ. Currently, OCM has a floor price of 0.082 Bitcoin.

Fomojis

Fomojis is OG. The total number of the generation is only 100, the inscription number is in the range of 18951 - 24112, the current floor price is 0.34 Bitcoin, and the total trading volume is 7.2 Bitcoin. The second generation was issued 1 month ago, with a total of 2009, the current floor price is 0.0129 Bitcoin, and the total trading volume is 25.42 Bitcoin.

This project is relatively influential in foreigner circles, and the technical ability is also good, and the second generation is the first series to achieve 100% dynamic inscriptions with recursion.

O.P.I.U.M.

This project is one of the few meme art on Bitcoin, which has always been the community and meme art, and the official website is also the abstract style of HarryPotterObamaSonic10Inu. The total number is 777, and the current floor price is 0.04 Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Boos

Another OG project. The total number is also only 100, the inscription number is in the range of 3314 - 14274, the current floor price is 0.33 Bitcoin, and the total Trading Volume is 7.18 Bitcoin. Bitcoin Boos also has a new series, Boottalion Soldiers, that can currently fight for the Allowlist.

In addition to the good community, Bitcoin Boos is also doing some AI-incorporating exploration, developing a dynamic AI-powered RPG MUD game.

Recently, a new project that has been very popular, the official tweet @inkonbtc has only one tweet, but it already has 5,500 followers. A bunch of foreigners are already tweeting trying to get the Allowlist, and Non-fungible Token big V grail.eth on ETH has also expressed support for the project.

The project is a fully hand-drawn art PFP series, with the total volume of the Genesis series controlled to three digits, and customized one-on-one by artists with more than 15 years of experience working in DC and Marvel. Counterfeit is a platform focused on the field of Bitcoin Non-fungible Token art, aiming to help more artists Bitcoin the ecosystem. Its co-founder, @0xBoozy, is the creator of Pizza Ninjas and has been active on Stacks since before Ordinals came along.

Starting in June 2023, counterfeit launched the “COUNTERFEIT CARDS” series, which is simply understood as a separate series created by the artist. At present, the 00 series of “COUNTERFEIT CARDS” has ended, with a total of 21 titles released, and the ongoing 01 series has just released its third title.

The author of this third work is LORS, a well-known artist who is active on ETH. Given the influence of Matrica/Atlas3 in the Solana community, the project has the potential to bring the power of Solana to Bitcoin Non-fungible Token, so it is recommended to keep an eye on it.

Shadow Hats

The famous Non-fungible Token project Forgotten Runes Wizard’s Cult on ETH has an inscription number of less than 1000. What fascinates me about this project is that the background is very good, the narrative is also very good, and it has been in operation for more than half a year, but I am still confused about the specific details… Anyway, let’s stay tuned for now.

Etcher

Thesis, the art distribution platform on Bitcoin, is also the development team behind projects such as Fold, a Bitcoin shopping rewards card, and Keep Network, a privacy protocol layer.
