A steady flow of Bitcoin ETF inflows: aiming for $6.5M

💰 Bitcoin ETF’leri recorded inflows for the sixth consecutive day.
🏦 BlackRock IBIT led with an inflow of $163.9 million.
📈 $BTC climbed 15% from the July low, nearing $68,000.

As inflows continued into spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds traded in the U.S., Bitcoin rose to its highest level in more than a month. Despite a rebound in institutional fund flows, low trading volumes and selling pressure in the $68,000 area emerged as the main challenges facing the rally.

BlackRock leads in Bitcoin ETF inflows
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a total of $203.2 million in net inflows on July 21, extending the funds’ positive streak to a sixth trading day. BlackRock IBIT ranked first with $163.9 million, while Fidelity FBTC saw $23.1 million in inflows, Ark Invest ARKB attracted $9.7 million, and Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust received $6.5 million. No net movement was seen in other products.

Spot Ethereum ETFs also completed their third consecutive positive session with $37.5 million in net inflows on July 21. BlackRock ETHA pulled in $52.8 million, while Fidelity FETH saw $15.3 million in outflows. No inflows or outflows were recorded in the remaining Ether funds.

Bitcoin rose above $66,600 on July 21, recovering about 15% from the early-July low.
This level is also close to the previous peak where Bitcoin’s rebound from mid-June stalled.

K33 Research Head of Research Vetle Lunde noted that institutional participation is still weak. Open interest in CME Bitcoin futures fell to the lowest level since 2023, while trading volume over the past 30 days remained at 62% of the annual average. Average daily spot volume over the last week was about $2.3 billion.

Lunde said ETF flows appear to have stabilized after heavy outflows in May and June, but there are not enough signs to show that investors have returned to buying strongly.
